The seven of us walked to the cafeteria. Jordan looked conflicted, and Anthony looked tired. Erik had a blank expression on his face, yet his eyes showed a world of pain.

'I understand that I'm attractive, but could you not stare?' Erik said.

'I'm sorry. I'm just trying to get some kind of understanding of you.'

'Huh. Well, stop.'

'Fine.'

I rolled my eyes. Gaby walked up to me.

"Hello. I'm Gaby, and you are?" she said holding her hand out.

"I'm Sarina. Nice to meet you," I said and shook her hand.

"And who are they?" she asked.

"Anthony is the light-skinned one. Jordan's the pale one with blond hair,"

"Hey!" Jordan said.

Gaby and I laughed.

"And mister bad boy over there is Erik," I said.

Erik winked at me, and I sighed.

'Seems like he has a thing for you.'

'As if! He's way too attractive for me.'

'Huh. that's different. The first thing a good person would say is that he's evil.'

'oh. That doesn't bother me. I've been with a bad boy before and I know how everything is.'

'I see. Who was it?'

'Bryan or Chris.'

'Ohhh. I know who he is. He's a jerk.'

'Yeah. Well, Erik's an even bigger jerk.'

Gaby laughed, and I smiled. I could tell we were going to be good friends.

"What's so funny?" Nathan asked.

"I'm surprised you weren't eavesdropping on our conversation," Gaby said.

"Trust me. I tried," Nathan said and made eye contact with me. "How are you doing?"

I grinned. "I am just great. How are you?"

He shrugged. "Meh. I could go for another dance session."

I laughed slightly and bit my lip.

"I'm sorry. Do you two know each other already?" Gaby frowned.

"Uhh. Sort of," I said.

"We met at the party at Edwin's house," Nathan said.

Jordan looked at me. "Oh yeah! That's where I remember you from! You were the girl who downed like 8 shots and 2 whole bottles."

"Yeah... Yeah. That was me," I sighed.

"Didn't you kiss Erik?" Edwin asked.

If I had lighter skin you could've seen me turn red but luckily for my dark skin, I don't blush easily. "Yeah. Yeah I did."

I looked at Erik and he had a cheeky grin on his face.

"I was drunk off my ass and trying to make my ex jealous," I admitted.

"Did it work?" Erik asked.

"Wonders."

Everyone broke into laughter and I smiled.

"Where was I when this happened?" Anthony asked.

I shrugged.

"I was probably already blackout drunk," Anthony admitted.
