Did you ever think there were monsters under the bed?

Well, I didn't... but now, I was rethinking it!

I was really about to scream when I felt something creeping at my leg. However, screaming could come when Sky left. I tried to kick it away but in response, Ron nudged me to stop moving. Apparently, if you move too much, the person in the room could feel you.

Nonsense!

"Aaaaahhhhhh!!" I screamed but not too loudly in case Sky could still hear. I twisted my body and surprise surprise, nothing is there.

"Aside from your screaming, since we're in this romantic setting," He started.

"Just a second, how is this romantic?" I asked him.

"Beside the point," He chuckled. "Anyway, as I was saying, you know I'm freaking awesome and all this stuff." I arched my brow even though I doubted he could see it. "I got you an exclusive opportunity to see Cinnamon in person. Awesome, right?"

I wanted to vomit.

Wait, wait, did this mean he like me??

Psh, noo, of course not!

I started creeping from under the bed. "I appreciate this, but I don't like her..." I trailed trying to think of a smart response to get me out of this but my head was freaking damn empty. "Why don't you take any of your friends instead, maybe your girlfriend?"

"Give me a day and you'll change your mind." Huh? "See you tomorrow. Don't let the bed bugs bite you, I'm pretty sure I saw a few under it."

How the bloody hell would I even think about sleep now?!

Tom!

He was the only one who could come up with actually good plans. That was how we used to make trouble as kids. Me doing whatever he said! We never got caught so, I was okay with keeping him as the mastermind.

I tried calling but what did I get in response?

A text.

Saying what?

'Twinkle I AM BUSY NOW'

When did life become so hard? Ugh! I plopped on bed making it bounce. Fun times, fun times! Oh, who was I kidding?! That was a disaster. And a disaster is best dealt with after a good night's sleep.

Waking up was never harder!

But for my good luck, I had a motive... I was going to give Alice the news of her life! I got up, put my war outfit and jogged happily to the pool. The witch said she would spend the day with her minions there.

"Oh! Look who's there. Just the girl I was looking for," I said as I spotted her. If this was a cartoon, I would see flames coming out of her nose and ears. She decided to ignore me. Bad choice. Very. Bad. Choice. "I heard they needed a captain for the cheerleaders and frankly speaking," I stopped enjoying her wide eyes. "You're not getting it so don't even try," I giggled. "Ciao!"

Did I really just do this?!

Yes!

Now, to break the news for my besties. They're gonna flip!

"Sky, I have a surprise. Where are you?" I said on the phone the moment she answered. Which to be honest was after a second of ringing.

"So do I, meet me at our room," she said.

"OMW!"

"Eli, did you seriously say O M W instead of saying the whole sentence? You texting-freak!" I giggled and headed to the room. How so ever, I wasn't so sure I wanted to know her surprise!

I entered the room slowly, delaying the inevitable!

"Elena, can you just enter instead of opening it like a ghost in a horror movie?!" I heard Tommy say. If I get in to find Jason too, I would be doomed.

I crossed my fingers.

Oh dammit, he was there! You know what? Screw it!

"I'm gonna be a cheerleader." Better surprise them first. Maybe they would forget whatever it was?

I heard a collection of whats hows and God knew what. This really felt like paparazzi!!

"Okay, calm down now!" I rolled my eyes. They didn't quieten one bit. "Guys really, just because I'm a little nerdy-"

"A little?!" They all said simultaneously. Ouch!

"Okay whatever, a lot-" Once again I was interrupted.

"That's still an understatement, Twinkle." That couldn't be the best friend I grew up with. No way!

"Thank you for your support." Again I rolled my eyes. "As I was saying, I can dance!"

"Really? You can?" Tommy asked.

"Is water wet?" I rolled my eyes.

"Show us." He insisted. Dude, you did know I was Cinnamon. Oh well, I wouldn't miss a chance to brag about my dancing.

I quickly flexed. "Give me a beat," I ordered them. When the song started. I danced to the music blending a few tricks from my days at gymnastics.

"No need for applause but do it." I Curtesied while they all clapped.

"Oh damn, Eli," Sky said sounding too damn suspicious. "You're late for your date!"

Date?
