Pale's POV
"I am making you Pale, the secret maid of honor," my mom said as she strapped a flower to my tiara.
"I'm so happy for you mom," I said.
Mom took my advice, she was getting married to David right on the beach, and I could watch the whole thing.
"Mermaid of honor, that pretty awesome," A voice said beside me.
I turned to face Pearl.
"Yeah," I said.
"I happy for mom," Matthew said beside me. Trident at his side.
My mom looked over her shoulder and saw Matthew.
"Matthew? Is that you?" Mom asked.
"Yeah mom," Matthew said.
"Matthew! You look so much like your father," she said giving him a hug.
She walked over to my grandpa who stared at Pearl, Matthew and I wide eyed.
I just smiled a bit and slowly waved my hand.
"Come on Papa," my mom said to gramps and lead him away from the dock.
Pisces popped up beside me. "Hey Pale, when your queen, will you make me marry James? I want to choose who I marry."
"Yeah," I said still watching my mom.
All of her bridesmaids wore teal colored dresses, so my tail matched the color.
I watched my mom kiss David and even if Queen was two years away, I felt like my life was finally whole again.
