Chapter 26 Taken

Bruce's Pov:

"He kissed you?" Tony asked again.

"Yes," I said and looked at Strange...Wait a second. Strange was watching as Tony was getting himself some coffee...Strange was looking at Tony like Clint looks at pizza, how Pepper looks at Happy, or how Sam looks at T'Challa. Strange loves Tony! I saw Strange look at me then he looked at the table...Tony doesn't know. Why? Why hasn't Strange told him? Maybe he's afraid he'll scare Tony off.

"Do you like him?" Tony asked sitting down with his cup.

"I don't know," I said honestly because I really didn't.

"You said both Thor and him are courting you," Strange said.

"Yeah," I said.

"They both like you," Tony said and I groaned.

"I know," I said.

"Two gods are fighting over you and you are not enjoying it?" Tony asked.

"Of course not!" I snapped.

"What's so bad about two people liking you?" Tony asked.

"Everything! I'm a monster!" I growled and Tony raised a brow.

"Yeah...Did you forget Loki tried enslaving the entire human race?" Tony asked.

"Or that Thor killed several people with his lightning." Strange added.

"Or that Loki one time turned into a snake to trick his brother so he could stab him?" Tony asked.

"He did?" Strange asked and Tony nodded.

"I just don't get why anyone would like me," I said and Tony looked at me like he understood.

"I know. It's something hard to accept but fighting it doesn't change anything. Let it happen." Tony said.

"I'll just get hurt," I said.

"Sometimes the pain is worth it," Tony said sounding older than he was making me look at him.

"When did you get wise?" I asked.

"After years of fighting it and getting hurt anyways, I learned to enjoy it while I had it," Tony said the light leaving his eyes making me frown. Tony was from a different Universe and I sometimes wish I could go there and learn what happened. This Tony seemed so damaged yet still had a big heart.

"Strange!" I jumped and looked behind me to see Wong.

"What?" Strange asked.

"We have a problem," Wong said.

"You two stay here," Strange said.

"Hell no," Tony said and Strange gave him a look.

"Please," Strange said and Tony deflated.

"Fine," Tony said and they left us.

"We're not actually staying here are we?" I asked.

"Nope," Tony said.

Tony's Pov:

"This is a bad idea," Bruce said as I tried and failed again.

"Damn ring," I growled.

"Hill will probably be all over that place," Bruce said.

"I need my suit...I'm dying out here with no tech," I said.

"Tony...I really think we should stay." Bruce said.

"If something happens I'll just let myself go crazy," I said and finally the circle started to form but it was a dark blue...Space stone then.
