Thorns and Roses Special Chapter 2

"Okay, kids, behave, okay? Dad's still at work, yari tayong tatlo kapag magulo dito..." I told my children and caressed their hair.

"Yes, Mommy!" Ani Deion kaya ngumiti ako. "Alright, baby, Ate Clyte, how about you?"

"I'm good, My! I promised Daddy I'll behave kasi daw kapag makulit kami ni Eion, mapapagod ka. Daddy said we should take care of you kasi daw po ikaw po ang Queen namin!" Aniya sa masayang tono.

A smile engraved my lips, pinagmasdan ko ang mga anak ko at pinisil ang pisngi nila.

"And Dad is our King, isn't he?" I asked.

"Yes!" They cheered.

"Tapos ang dalawang baby ko ang princess at prince namin?" Nang tumango silang masaya sa akin ay matamis na akong napangiti at humalik sa ulo nila.

"Mommy, Eion and I will play outside po, huh?" Ani Clyte habang inaayos ko ang pigtails niya.

"Sure, Clyte but don't run, magkakasugat kayo..." Sabi ko. She nodded, nang sumulyap naman ako kay Eion ay seryoso lang itong nanunuod ng TV at inaayos ang salamin niya.

Nagmana talaga sa tatay, even his eyes are not that good na paniguradong namana niya sa asawa ko. At young age, he already has a poor eyesight pero kung sa mukha naman ay parang pinagbiyak na bunga siya ng Daddy niya.

I smiled at him when he saw me. He smiled too, like how my husband smiles softly which he obviously got from his father.

Good boy na good boy ang itsura ng Eion ko, si Clyte naman ay may pagkamaldita na pakiramdam ko ay nagaya niya sa ugali ko.

Hinayaan ko silang maglaro sa bakuran ng bahay habang nag-aayos ako ng mga gamit namin sa sala. The maids are off today, and I had my day-off to be with the kids.

Ayaw nga rin pumasok ni Thorn but as a doctor, he has responsibilities kaya pumasok rin siya pero nangakong uuwi ng maaga.

I stopped when I heard the phone ringing, lumapit ako roon at inabot ang telepono bago nagsalita.

"Hello, Valderama's residence..." I said softly.

"Reyna ko..." I stopped and a smile left my lips when I heard his husky voice.

"Thornie ko!" I cheered.

He laughed, I am imagining him leaning on his swivel as he talk to me.

"How's my Queen?" Aniya sa malambing na tono.

"Great!" I answered. "Katatapos lang maligo ng mga bata tapos nasa labas sila ngayon."

"Hmm," he hummed. "How about you? Anong ginagawa ng reyna ko?" Aniya.

I giggled, naupo ako sa may kitchen counter at nagsalita.

"Hmm, I cleaned the living room?" I said. "Then, I cooked food for breakfast, anyway, have you eaten yet? You didn't eat anything earlier..."

"Meron," aniya.

My forehead creased, hinawi ko ang buhok ko sa pagtataka. As much as I remember, hindi ako nakapagluto kanina nung pumasok siya.
