3. I smile when you smile

-I'm just happy because my brother is back- I say

-Nick, when?- Ray asks

-Okay that's just creepy, how do you know him?- I ask

-Because he's a model- Ray says

-Oliver didn't know about him, I know him longer- I say

-Maybe he doesn't pay much attention to you- Ray says and leave the room completely

I don't realize I'm standing in the middle of the room staring at the floor with a sad face.

Then I come back because I can't leave until Ray is back.

-I can't leave, Ray is not back yet, so I have to stay- I say and get my in my chair

Nick starts texting me emojis. I can tell he is really bored. He needs a girlfriend. I thought about watching the news. I look for it in the laptop and the first image that comes up Laurel and Oliver holding hands and the note saying there were rumors try were back together. Ray comes in that moment and I stand up.

-I have to go now, I'm not feeling well right now- I say

-Are you okay? Do you want me to take you home?- Ray asks

-No, I have my car- I say and leave the room

Ray reaches me in the parking lot and calls me to stop me.

-Hey I'm not letting you drive like this- Ray says

-I will accept your help because I don't think I can drive now- I say

He takes my keys and starts the car. He drives me home. Ray stops the car and looks at me.

-If you want to cry you can?- He says

I start crying, I don't think I can stop crying.

-What happened?- Ray asks

-You know when you like someone and you wait for him 2 years and he gets back together with his long time girlfriend, we even went out on a date, even like that you just seem not good enough- I say out loud everything I need it to and take a deep breath after that

-Are you talking about Oliver?- Ray asks

-You shouldn't cry for him, I don't want to be mean but he has many chances to ask you out and he hasn't, he doesn't deserve you, you deserve better, I'm self-centered and I believe I'm not good enough either- Ray says

- I'm just a common girl- I say

-Yeah and I'm pregnant- Ray says and I laugh

I smile again, I look at the door and my brother is coming near us.

-Hey let's get inside sis, it's cold out here- Nick says

I open the door and get out of the car. I go back inside and kiss Ray in the cheek.

-Thanks- I say and he smiles
