Iyanuoluwa-Temi
Hi.....
Well, my Name is Iyanuoluwa, but I prefer to be called Temilade. I came across Wattpad in 2016, after I graduated from high school.

In secondary school we were a lot of girls that read novels, hard cover actually and when we graduated, one of us just told me to download Wattpad, that I'd enjoy it, and I did. I started off as a reader anyway. It was in 2018 that I wanted to start writing. I started off with American books because I thought that was all on Wattpad and I wrote two of them, Until I started coming across Nigerian books, which I was very good at. I mean I've started writing nigerian based teen fictions in note books, back in high school so It was so easy for me to adapt. I deleted my first book 'His Smile' because I didn't like the way it came out (that is my first American book) and left 'Makaila' mostly because the views were increasing rapidly daily.

So I started to write 'Beneath the Surface' and for the first time since I came to Wattpad, I felt I was finally doing something right. I was able to relate well with my characters and I was looking forward to writing more and more. Yes the Nigerian books didn't have as much reads as "Makaila" did but, the ranks they were getting just dey burst my brain. 🙂 😉

So far my experience on Wattpad has been wonderful. I have won awards and I've been invited to join various book clubs. Someone actually said she would live to see my book on the big screen and I really can't wait for that to happen.

My advice to every upcoming Nigerian Author out there is that, don't stop writing, not for any reason. Be proud of your culture, write about Nigeria. And take to corrections. No matter how rude some comments might be, there is always something you can gain from them. A big thank you to all my readers and everyone that comments. Especially the commenters, you guys just dey make my head swell. I love you all and Happy New Year ♥️♥️🤗🤗

Thank you so much for your time Temilade. ♥️♥️♥️
