i don't use a fan cast or describe any physical features during my book so u can picture her as urselves <3

*✧･ﾟ:* HER BACKSTORY ✧･ﾟ: *

• ava duffy lived a happy, ordinary life when she was a little girl,

• she was ever so close to her mother, who passed her own love of romance onto her daughter,

•  unfortunately her mammy fell sick and passed away when ava was just thirteen, breaking the young girls heart,

• ava struggled to cope, as did her father who felt the need to leave, placing her in the care of her nana,

• she doesn't blame her dad, she saw what her mother's passing did to him, but it broke her heart to be left by both parents,

• ava's nana is holds her heart,  although she's always in and out of hospital being the delicate woman she is,  meaning ava often relies on her friends families for support,

*✧･ﾟ:* HER PERSONALITY ✧･ﾟ: *

• ava duffy is your typical  soft, vulnerable and emotional, hopeless romantic,

• she's a huge lover of fashion, even making her own clothes or redesigning old jackets,

• she's a huge dreamer and wants nothing more than to leave her small town of derry and see what the world has to offer.,

• she holds on to the hope that the movies and the books are real, that true love does exist,

• she's desperately searching for her very own prince charming, to begin her own love story, 

•  she saw how much her parents loved each other and wishes to find a love as true as theirs, although she wants someone who will stick around,

• she falls in 'love' easily, or desperately clings to a connection she created with someone, hopefully that it's love,

*✧･ﾟ:* HER RELATIONSHIPS ✧･ﾟ: *

• erin sympathises with ava but doesn't understand, often making the situation about herself instead. although the duffy girl doesn't hold it against the blonde she sometimes let's the comments get to her, but most importantly erin alongside her family care a lot for the young girl,

• michelle always knew ava but the second her mum passed she stepped up and tried to distract her everyday, no one knew where michelle's sudden burst of sympathy came from but she was one of the only reasons ava got through her worst times. michelle's mam was best mates with ava's ever since they met at a toddler group so often takes ava in when her nan is back in hospital, making the girls feel like sisters.,

• ava and orla have known each other since birth as their mums were best friends from their school days, the two are often found lost in their own worlds, both having an innocent outlook on life. ava and orla are probably looked out for the most by the group, being the ditziest, as well as being seen as the innocent yet happy ones,

• ava isn't as close to clare but her caring personality means she supports everything the girl does. she's often the only one that will bare to listen to clare rambling on about the issues in africa, and how's she's helping them. although they may not be the closest the girls are definitely still friends and would do anything for each other. their bond certainly grows however when clare makes a revelation to the rest of the girls.

• james shows up just as ava begins to lose hope of ever finding her prince charming, she instantly sticks up for james due to the nature of her personality, but the boy's personality, comforting and sweet smile  intrigues her from the beginning.
