"You ready" Jenna asked

"Yes" I replied. We got in the Uber and went to airport. Mrs Davis company paid for our flights and were in first class.

"You ready to be back at home" Jenna asked

"Yes" I replied with a nervous laughter

"Hey it's ok, we are here" Jenna said

We were taking off, and I started to fall asleep. I woke up 1 hour before we landed. I looked outside and saw the clouds. Last time I was on a plane was when my brothers picked me up, after my parents death.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we are now starting to land please put your tray table back, pull your seats up and put your seatbelts on." The flight attendant said.

I fixed my chair, and put my seatbelt back on. We landed and made our way to baggage claim. We got our bags and made our way to the rental car. We got to the hotel.

"Ok ladies, you guys have the day to yourself, I have meeting calls and business stuff. I will be free for dinner" mrs Davis said

"And Lexi, I know you never get a proper memorial for your parents, so when you left I took over. We buried them at this cemetery. Would you like to see them" mrs. Davis asked

I didn't know what to say. I would see my parents grave.

"Here, I'll send you the address, and you can decide" Mrs. Davis replied

"Thank you" I said hugging her

"Thank you so much" I said

"You're welcome Lexi. I'm always here" Mrs. Davis replied.

Jenna and I got ready. We wanted to go shopping, and meet up with old friends.

"Ok ready to head out" Jenna asked

"Yup" I replied

Jenna and I went a huge shopping trip. I used the card that my brothers gave me. If they caused me trauma imma make their pockets hurt.

After the shopping we were exhausted, and it was almost dinner time. So we head back to the hotel to meet up with Jennas mom.

"So how was the shopping" mrs Davis asked

"Good, but tiring" I replied

We ate our dinner and headed back to the hotel. Jenna and I had our own hotel room, while mrs Davis had her own.

"I'm so tired" I told Jenna

"Me too" she replied

"Hey Lexi" Jenna said

"Yeah" I replied

"Do you want to see your old home" she asked

I didn't realize I still had the home and it was under my name. I wanted to give a proper goodbye and have closure.

"Honestly I don't know but I need closure and give a proper goodbye" I said

"You want to do that tomorrow" she asked

"Yeah" I replied with tears coming down.

I'm in my home town, where I grew up. I never thought they I would need to have closure and give a proper goodbye. It is hard, and I wasn't ready.

"Come here" Jenna said taping the side of her to indicate to go to her bed. She hugged me and helped me calm down. I went back to my bed and fell asleep.

We woke up the next day ready to see my parents and my home.

We ordered room service and got ready. We went downstairs and got a taxi

"You ready" she asked

"Nope but I have to face it" I replied

We first went to my home, then we would go to the cemetery. I saw the familiar park I would walk to whenever I was bored. We were getting close. We reached the house and I saw the front door. Nothing has changed. We paid the taxi and stepped out. Jenna grabbed my hand and held it and walked to the door. I took out my keys and opened the door.

It was the same just like I left. The furniture, the smell, everything besides my parents.

I broke down, I felt pain and sadness overcome me. I didn't know what to do. I cried for 10 more minutes and picked myself up. I went through my room to see if I wanted anything else then my parents.

I broke down again. I would never see them again in this room. They random pillow fights, the funny talks we had.

Gone.

I went to my mom nightstand and saw a little jewelry box with a note saying

Dear Lexi,

Happy 17th birthday, this was my mother's necklace and her mother's so your great grandma. Wear it everyday, and never let it go until you have your kid. I love you so much.

Sincerely, mom

I cried so much, she left me her the heirloom. I put it on and it was perfect. It was a beautiful gold chain with a rose. I wiped away the tears and went to my dads side. I found another box

Dear Lexi,

Happy 17th birthday, this was my fathers ring and his fathers ring. I was suppose to give this to my son but I don't have one, instead I have an amazing  beautiful daughter. I want you to have this. If you ever have kids give this too them. Pass it down for generations. I love you so much kiddo

Sincerely, dad

I let out a sob. I fell to the ground and cried.

"I love you too mom and dad" I whispered

Jenna helped me calm down. I got up and grabbed couple of my parents thing. I went to the family room, and looked around

"Hey Jenna could you wait outside for a minute" I asked

"Of course, take your time" she said

"Hey house, thank you for all the memories I've had. You will always be my house and I will never forget you, neither will I sell you. I love you so much and see you soon. Goodbye house" I said out loud.

I kissed my two fingers then placed it on the door.

"Goodbye" I whispered.

I head out outside now it was time to see my parents. We headed off to the cemetery, and we reached after 30 minutes. I walked towards the lot where Mrs. Davis said they were.

I saw it,

I saw them
