He had blue eyes like mine. He looked like he was in his mid 50s

"Alexis this is your father, Robert" Aidan said standing up from the couch

I thought they were gonna bring him when I was ready.

"You mean my biological father, my real father is dead" I said

"Lexi, don't be disrespectful" Aidan replied glaring at me. He was getting mad.

"It's getting late im going to bed" I said

"Lex-

"It's fine Aidan, let her go" Robert said

I go up the stairs and head into my room. My emotions are everywhere

I'm mad that Aidan would bring him here, he said he would let me decide when I want to. I'm hurt that he thinks he can replace the father who taught me how to ride a bike, was there when I scratched my knee, the father who comforted me when I got my heart broken.

That guy downstairs has never been my father, and will never.

I saw a picture of my mom and dad and I, and all the emotions came out.

I started crying nonstop. They are trying to replace him.

I fell asleep on my bed, but it was abruptly stopped

I walked in seeing my dad

"Dad you're alive" I said running towards him

He smiled at me and I went in for a hug.

I pulled away and saw blood on my bed and his sweatshirt

"Dad" I said tearing up

"He's not your father" Robert

"What did you do" I screamed

"I'm your father not him" he kept saying

"No you will never be my father" I shouted

I drop to the floor to see my dad dying.

Robert shoots my dad in the head.

"Nooo, Stop" I yelled

Roberts drags me away from my dad

"Noo let me go, I want my dad" I screamed

"I'm your dad" he shouted back

I shot up from my bed, sweating. The nightmares are coming back. I decided not to go up to the roof but the backyard. I needed to clear my head.

I changed into a sweatshirt, I put shoes on and went in the backyard.

I opened the sliding door quietly, and closed it. I headed towards the basketball court. Basketball always cleared my head.

I grabbed the basketball and started shooting around.

All of my anger and frustration I would put all of it into basketball.

"You like playing basketball?" Someone said

I turned around and saw him

Robert

I ignored him, I didn't want to talk to the guy who's trying to replace my dad
