Chapter 68- It was nice meeting you

The doorbell rang,

This should be fun.

I waited a bit for them to call me down.

"ALEXIS, come down please" Aidan shouted

He only uses my full name when it's important

I go out of my room and head downstairs, I see Kenzie, and two other girls.

"Alexis is this Rachel" Aidan said

"Hi, nice to meet you" I said

"And this is Maddie" Ace said

"Hi nice to meet you too" I said

We all went to to the family room and got to know each other.

I sat on one of the couch with Andrew and Jaden. It was the people who weren't dating

"Umm Rachel, I got you a Christmas gift, and Maddie I didn't know Ace had a girlfriend at the time but I'm getting you a late Christmas gift" I said

"Alexis that's so sweet of you, you really don't need to" she said

"No i want to, everyone deserves a Christmas gift" I replied

"I'll be right back" I said

I went upstairs and grabbed the envelope, I got her a Nordstrom gift card

I went back down

"Merry Christmas" I said giving her the envelope.

She gave me a weird look, not a confused look but like a disgust look. It's like she wanted something bigger

She opened it up and she gave me a weird look but quickly changed it to a forced smile

"Thank you Alexis" she said

"You're welcome" I said

"Ok dinner is ready" Andrew said

We all went to the dining table.

"So Alexis what do you like to do" Maddie asked

"Well I've been playing basketball pretty much my whole life, I'm trying out for the team later this break" I replied

"Are you trying out for the freshman team?" Rachel asked with a smirk

"Umm no, actually varsity. I was the varsity captain at my old school" I said

"Oh" she said

"Well good luck on the tryouts. I know you'll do great" Maddie said

"Thank you, I hope I make it, what about you? Anything fun you like to do?" I asked

"Umm well I'm in the fashion industry, I model a bit but mostly design" she said

"Woah, I did a bit of modeling when I was younger. It's really cool, I've always wanted to see the studio" I said

"Yeah I can give you a tour whenever you want to" she said

"Yeah that would be amazing" I replied

"What about you Rachel, anything fun" I asked

"Yes, I've been doing a lot of modeling and a lot of fashion" she said

"That's cool, You guys are both into the same industry" I replied

"Fashion may not what you should look into, but I'm willing to help you and your style" she said with a smile

"Oh" I replied

I looked at my clothes, confused. I like my style and it was trendy

"Hey I like your style" Andrew whispered

"Thanks" I replied

"Kenzie, anything fun you've been doing?" I asked

"Besides being a nurse, not much. Whenever I have time I like to paint" she said

"I could never paint, I suck at it" I replied

"I can teach you if you want" she said

"That would be nice" I replied

We continued eating dinner and I didn't talk much after.

We ate dessert and talked a bit more.

"I'll be right back" I said

I went to use the restroom and while walking out someone bumping into me

"Watch where you're going" Rachel said

"You're the one who bumped into me" I replied

"Listen here bitch, I know you're little sister act, if you dare even get in between Aidan and I, I will make sure your life is hell" she said

"Listen here skank, I'm the one who can break your relationship, I would recommend you being nicer" I said walking away

She really thinks that she can tell me what to do.

I walked back in and went to the kitchen. I was not in the mood to talk to anyone.

"Lexi what's wrong" Robert asked

"Nothing, just tired" I replied

"You sure" he asked

"Yeah" I replied

"Well I'm here if you want to talk" he said

"Ok" I replied

It was getting late and everyone starting leaving.

"It was great meeting you guys" I said

"You too Alexis" Maddie said

"You can call me Lexi" I replied

I gave her a goodbye then Rachel

"Tell anyone about what happened near the bathroom and I will end you" she said whispering.

"Talk to me like that and I'll make sure you are no longer allowed in this country" I whispered back

They all left and now it was just family.

"Soo what do you think" Ryan asked

"I like Kenzie" I replied

They all agreed

"Maddie?"

"She's really sweet" I replied

They all agreed

"Rachel?" Aidan asked

I had to tell him, but I couldn't do it in front of everyone

"She's fine" I replied

Everyone has different emotions, I guess I'm not the only one

"Well tonight was great" Ace said

We all agreed, I went upstairs and changed.

I had to tell Aidan.

I went out of my room and knocked on his room door.

"Come In" he said

I walked into his room and I never saw his room before.

It was basic, his sheets were grey, and his walls were a light grey.

Very basic tidy room.

He was on a call

"Rachel I'll talk to you later" he said

He hung up

"What's up Lexi?" He asked

"Umm it's about Rachel" I said
