Chloe POV

4th February, 2021.

- I still can't believe you forgot to give him your actual number - Hannah said looking at me while we were laying in my bed just days before I was returning to the UK

- That's literally her last concern, she'll be working kinda with him - Kiera pointed out and I nodded

- I'm about to freak the fuck out, how am I supposed to arrive at Mclaren when Daniel is there and face him like nothing - I said throwing myself back on the bed - I could at least have said that I knew who he was, but no, spent two weeks pretending

- He did lie about who he was too - Alicia pointed out - If he gets mad is also his fault. I'm just impressed with how much he had an affect on you, the cold hearted one

- If you guys are, imagine myself, it's not the first time I've had a fling during vacation but is the first time I took the thought of it home - I complained - Daniel might kill me

- Oh for god's sake, Daniel could never lay a finger on you, you're literally his treasure - Kiera said and I nodded knowing my relationship with my cousin was amazing despite the age difference and the distance we faced for all these years

- Can we watch the movie already? - I said not wanting to talk about the Dubai events anymore and soon the movie was on the screen of my parent's movie theater

The issue was that my thoughts were not even close to being focused on the movie, quite the opposite, they were in a certain British driver that I'd be seeing soon and had no idea how to react to.

Telling Daniel? That was a thought that passed my mind a lot of times, I feel bad lying to him and specially since I did this fully knowing they would be teammates for god knows how long and I could end up seeing him again, but then, I made out with friends who are still surrounding me and I have no issue with, the last thing I would expect was that with him it would be different.

Jokes on me, it was.

Daniel had convinced me that working with him would be a good idea, it took him almost three weeks - way longer than he expected - but I was still not sure. I knew I was doing this for my cousin but when it came to myself I was terrified to face the British driver. 

Lando made Dubai fun again, a place I've been to multiple times gained a different perspective, a different feeling. I did things I wouldn't expect to be doing in this trip and that was all because of Lando.

Lando Norris was probably the most stalked instagram account on my part at the moment, not the stories, I couldn't watch them, I was terrified he was the kind to check who saw it and then see my verified account there, that's simply not an option.

How do you tell someone you hidden from them who you're and who your family is? I guess he did hide himself stuff but could you even blame him? Not really, Daniel did the same before meeting his now girlfriend.

All I had to do was distract myself and what would be better than a boat day, right?

- What about we go on the boat tomorrow? - I said looking at the girls seeing them looking confused at me - We can put on the group and meet the guys there, other than that, the boat will be ready - I said smiling hoping they would agree

- I'm down - Hannah said and the girls nodded their head agreeing with her and I was soon texting my dad to make sure everything would be organized and our friends group chat.

- GOOD MORNING - Thomas screamed as soon as they saw us seating inside the boat and I laughed knowing my best friend had agreed to come even though he arrived yesterday from a trip himself

- Ladies - Jack said sounding posh and we laughed

- We got drinks and some food to complement - Zach said and I smiled seeing my favorite chips in the bag

- I LOVE YOU GUYS - I said getting one of them out and opening them making everyone laugh

- Let's get this party started while the others are still arriving - Josh said and we nodded

- LET'S GO BABY - Mason screamed from the other side of the pier alongside Nick

- I guess, everyone's here - I said smiling and getting the music louder

- You captain at your service - Nick said as soon as he entered and we laughed since he was the chosen one for this time

What better way to get a boy out of your mind and to enjoy your last few days in the sunny Australia, right? 

hey guys, I wanted to kinda put a little bit of what they have been thinking about each other and the Dubai time cause I didn't really want to drag the trip since it's just how they meet and the good stuff starts now!

Next chapter will be out tomorrow or sunday and they may or may not meet again
