Today was my date with Lando and to say that I was calm would be a lie. I wasn't fully nervous cause this isn't the first time we would hang out and is not like we didn't have whatever we had in Abu Dhabi but right now it just felt different, maybe also cause I was completely lying to my cousin about it, but that's just a detail that didn't really matter right now since he went back to Monaco yesterday.
Lando and I agreed that a reserved place would be the best option and so it was agreed that I would go to his house today, so the outfit I was wearing didn't need to be anything fancy, something that honestly helped me a lot in this situation. I changed into a pair of jeans, a white cropped and a bomber jacket and paired it with my basic AF1, more casual than this just if I went in a hoodie only, something the weather here didn't allow me to do.
Living Daniel's place I decided to uber to Lando's house since I still haven't gotten a car and refused to drive the McLaren that Daniel received for when he was in town, imagine if I crashed that thing? No thanks.
I got to Lando's house about 10 minutes later and I finally figured that we didn't leave that far from each other, at least if we were using a car. I rushed to the gate and pressed the intercom hoping he would open soon since I was already freezing outside. Let me tell you, Australia weather smashes United Kingdom one.
- Hey, you look beautiful - He complimented me while hugging me and leaving a kiss on my cheek
- Hi, you too - I winked at him
- So, I tried cooking dinner but I burned it - He said and I laughed since I knew that cooking was one of Lando's worst traits - So, I ordered us dinner, it should be here soon. I have something to show you - He said pulling my hand and directing me to a room in the back of his house
- What is It - I asked curiously while the door was still closed
- Close your eyes - He said and I rolled my eyes but soon closed them - Open them - He said after pulling me inside the room and I was faced with a set of drums and I couldn't hold my laughter
- Did you actually buy it? I thought you were joking - I said going towards it and he disagreed with his head - I told you I was going to
- Have you learned anything yet? - I asked and he denied - I'm learning this week though
- Then we can play together, you do the drums and I do the piano - I smiled excitedly with the thought of playing the piano again
- Sometimes I forget that you're one of many talents
- Oh no, I'm just the rich blonde girl - I joked and he laughed before we heard the intercom go off - I guess dinner is here.
- You remembered? - I asked surprised looking at the plates that were placed on the table seeing my favorite pasta from my favorite UK restaurant ever, something I mentioned to the British driver while in Dubai.
- I told you I pay attention Chloe - He rolled his eyes playfully - This was second date idea but we had to push it forward - He laughed
- No offense to your food, but I'm glad - I smiled
- So, what did you tell Daniel to escape here? - He asked after we were already almost done with our food
- Nothing, he's in Monaco - I explained finishing my plate seeing the confused face in front of me - He's going to meet us in Bahrain for the tests
- Why didn't you go with him?
- I barely got adapted to here plus I'll be traveling a lot, for now I just want to stay in one place while I can.
- Makes sense, but hey, that means we don't have to sneak around that badly - He smiled and I laughed - Don't forget I actually have to go to the factory a few days since I stayed, not everyone can work from home - I joked since he traded a lot of his simulator at the factory to simulator at home
- Out of suddenly I'll be going to the factory for every simulator session
- Zak will be so proud - I joked pushing him away from the sink to start washing the dishes
- What you think you're doing?
- Washing the dishes and don't even think I won't do it. You payed and organized everything now I wash.
- DONE - I jumped onto him in the couch making him block his phone and look at me smiling
- Has anyone ever told you that you're stubborn? - He asked me and I pretended to think
- Actually no. - I lied and smiled - By the way I already placed everything in their places
- Jesus you're stubborn - He said placing his hand behind my neck and caressing his fingers there - 0 to 10 chances of getting told off if I kiss you right now? - He whispered getting closer but not breaking the eye contact
- Zero - I said and soon our lips were connected and this time with no risk of someone walking on us I didn't pull away and enjoyed every single second of it.
