From heaven I look down below to find you Among seas of faces, it's you I cherish true I could have left you alone but I chose not to So day by day, I sit close to you, though you had not a clue Though pretending to be tough, you are soft as snow You are building yourself lies as you walk and go But at the end of it all, I find you tired as you lay low In the dark of night, your soft cries against the wind, blow You may not know it but I am watching close My heart hurts for you because you are my darling rose During those days you feel blue, I'll take part You may not realize it but know that I see your heart
Beside you, I look across to find you feeling haughty You thought you could do all, that you are strong and mighty So I reached out and struck you so you fell truly Even as you see me, your heart is never sorry Said it to my face, back then, how dare I try to meddle It's your life, you said, so I have no right to settle My heart hurts again, seeing you not realizing it I created you, yet all you do is waste your heart's every beat As I struck you again, I hope you learn your lesson fast Because it hurts me every time I had to make hurdles last Even then, I remind you that you re mt most special art But you fall away because you don't know that I see your heart
I find the sunset beautiful because it tells a story Once, you are strong, but now you're crawling back to me Tears in your eyes, saying that you're sorry All those years, where were hiding that sinful bounty You expected me to shout, scream, throw this around But I knelt down and crushed your mistakes to the ground You try to live for me after that, to show me you've changed You fail, time and again, you can no longer show your face My child, I know how hard these things are That's why I'm here to show you steps to carry by the hour And darling, you ought to see how beautiful you are from the start You want to be the best for me, I see that in your heart
You should have walked back to me every time you feel bad I'll help you, I'll be your friend if all left you sad I'm always here, like the promise you keep telling everyone You're there for people, so where are they when you need them? Gone. These things I want to say because it matters most Never mind the world and the scares, to me you are lost I know it's hard, impossible even, but you can do anything I please The determination you have will encourage everyone who sees How you try, how you fail to get back up again I see how you regret things you did mistaken And even though sometimes you feel like we're miles apart My child, I will never leave—remember that I see your heart

It sounds so wrong if you don't know the context. Lol. I am a Christian and I wrote this to signify my relationship with God. So yeah. If you read it like that, it's just the truth.
