The  one with those eyes,

Long like a lily,

Pure like a lotus,

Bright like the sun,

Lovely like the moon,

The one with those eyes,

Stole my heart.

The one with yellow robes,

Scented with camphor,

Shining like a thousand topaz,

Fluttering like a million butterflies,

Softer than the bed of flowers,

The one with those robes,

Stole my heart.

The one who is dark skinned,

Darker than midnight.

Like a dark blue lily,

All of beauty in one,

Cool like a soft breeze,

The one with such a skin,

Stole my heart.

The one who plays a flute,

Ethereal music like heaven,

Music that confirms your salvation,

Mellifluous and entrancing notes,

Music that claims my soul,

The one who plays that flute,

 Stole my heart.

The one who whispers sweet nothings,

Every night and tickles me teasingly.

That one stole my heart along with the butter.

The one who wears a peacock feather,

Which He gifted me one evening, is the one

Who so effortlessly stole my heart.

The one whose voice is sweeter than honey,

Dripping love and only love,

He healed my heart, and ofcourse,

Stole it as a payment.

The one who can be seen,

Only with love and devotion,

He saw me before I saw Him.

So He stole my heart.

I search for Him,

Day and night.

Every breath of my life.

For He has my heart.
