As Miss Olivia Rodrigo Once Said, "It's Always One Step Forward And Three Steps Back"

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

Gigi decided to give us the rest of the day off to refrain from someone actually getting hit in the head with one of those stage lights.

The minute I entered my trailer I received a call from Nicole who somehow caught wind of this debacle.

She called to tell me that she scheduled a photoshoot and an interview that I have to be at in an hour.

I am still trying to figure out how the woman caught wind  of this.

I adjust my black sweatpants and hoodie before slipping on and tying my converse.

Once my shoes are tied I pull my hair up into a slick ponytail, not liking the feeling of said hair touching my neck.

I make sure that I have all of my personal items before opening my trailer door and exiting said trailer.

"Oh" I say as I accidentally bump into Hunter due to me not paying any attention

"I am sorry, I wasn't paying attention" I honestly tell her

The raven haired girl shrugs her shoulders at my apology.

"It's fine," she says

I nod my head.

She surprises me by walking alongside me, the both of us making our way towards the large gate.

"So...what are you going to do today?" She awkwardly starts up a conversation

I furrow my eyebrows at her.

"Uhm- work?" I reply but it comes out more as a question

The actress hums at this.

"So, just work?" She asks

I nod my head.

"Just work," I nod

"Unless I go to the mall" I feel the need to add

Why am I telling her this?

The actress hums again.

"So you're not just working today" she states

I shake my head.

"I guess not"

There is a silence between the two of us as we wait for the guard to open the gate, exiting said gate once it is open.

"Do you mind if I go with you?" The actress suddenly suggests

I pause in my spot at her suggestion.

I am pretty sure the shock is clear on my face.

"Is this a joke? Are you joking with me?" I cannot help but ask

The raven haired girl stops as well, turning to face me.

"If I were joking with you don't you think I would've already done something?"

I cross my arms at her.

"You could be waiting for me to let my guard down so that I will be clueless to your antics"

She hums at this, indirectly agreeing with me.

"I promise that I'm not doing anything to 'prank', 'trick' or 'fool' you" she tells me

I give her a singular head nod.

I get the feeling that she is telling the truth.

"Okay,"
