I shifted before the enclosed arms around me did. Though he was awake, he didn't move and only stared at my face. My lips curled upwards into a smile.

"Good morning."

Last night's events were still clear in my mind and I couldn't help but internally blush deeply at them. Yes, I knew I'd missed Keegan, but the night's happenings had brought on an entirely new type of view. We had both yearned for much more than each other's company.

"Hi," his voice was the deep and scratchy sound it always was in the morning. "Sleep well?"

"Mmm, not really," I stared into his weary blue eyes, tucking his hair on his forehead back.

"Oh? Why not?"

"This asshole kept groping my ass and burying his face in my neck."

"Who would do such a thing?"

"I know right?" I laughed as Keegan gave me a raspberry on my collarbone.

"I love you," he had a muscular arm over my body now, propping his upper body over top of mine. "You know that, right?"

"I think you proved it last night," I leaned up and pecked his cheek. "I love you too."

Keegan leaned in for a kiss, yet I pulled away. My hands were on his solid chest, which I couldn't get over even at this point in time. His muscles were my weakness.

"Ew, no morning breath!"

"I don't care," Keegan pinned my hands and kissed my lips anyways.

Talk about a repeat in history. Both Keegan and I seemed to realize this and fell silent. Those times were like a baby to us; Rorke as an enemy compared to Alec was so light and fluffy, the icing on a chocolate cake.

"Do you want that again?" Keegan stroked a piece of my brunette hair behind my ear, studying me as if I was a fragile glass sculpture.

"What? Kids? A family?"

Keegan let out a hum and nodded his head. I tangled my hands through his hair, playing with the bit on the back of his neck.

"Of course," his eyes lit up to my words, "but only after this is all dealt with."

He knew that I didn't want something like last time to happen again. Thinking of Dawn made my heart punch itself even to this day. She'd left an ache in everyone's hearts and repeating those steps in history would destroy everyone, especially Keegan and I.

Keegan's smile was wide as he latched his lips to mine.

"So," Logan panted, "what exactly did Jason teach you?"

I swung my hands with ease, blocking every single punch Logan threw. "Many things."

"Don't believe you," Logan tried to kick me and hit my leg as I jumped sideways. "You haven't even proven it."

Off to our right, Kick and Keegan were busily talking away and working out. Sweat coated both of their foreheads and sunlight only showed it off when one of them gazed over to Logan and I. I couldn't help but admire how easily Keegan pumped out his push-up reps.

"You did not just say that!" I growled, twisting Logan's arm to bring him to the cement.

Logan let out a challenging chuckle. "Did I stutter?"

I narrowed my eyes and released him, opening my palms upwards towards the sky. My palms quickly generated a color of green, specks of gray appearing as well. Within moments, a cloud rolled over the sun and it began rain, lightning and thunder filling the air.
