The Promise

History

**Beth**

Alex and I went to the butterfly garden place and we found Anna there . We were the only people there .
"Great you guys came ," Anna said when she saw us .
She made me to stand in front of Alex and then she said ," I'm breaking up with you ".
"This again , Anna w-
"Now , talk to Beth ," Anna said then she left .

"So , Anna brought me here to see you get dumped again , wow ," I said .
"I don't know why she keeps saying that . When I ask her why , she doesn't want to tell me ," Alex said .
"What do you think it is ?" I asked .
"I don't know . When she said this the first time , she said  something about me and you ," Alex said and my heart skipped a beat .

Does Anna know ?
I hope she doesn't .
Then soon , Anna came back .
"Have you guys talked ?" Anna asked .
"Anna , why are you doing this . This doesn't involve Beth ," Alex said. 
"I need you two to talk about your feelings ," Anna said .
"Why ? What does this have to do with our break up ?" Alex said .
"Talk about your feelings to Beth ," Anna said .

"Anna ," Alex said getting frustrated.
"What feelings ?" I asked .
"Your feelings towards each other . How do you feel about each other ?" Anna asked .
"She is my bestfriend ," Alex said. 
"How do you feel about her romantically ?" Anna asked .
That was when I realized Anna knew .
"I should go ," I said .

"Stay ," Anna said .
"Alex , tell us ," Anna said .
"Anna , why are you doing this ," Alex said .
"Just answer my question ," Anna said .
"I don't feel anything for her . She is just a bestfirend to me ," Alex said and that made me sad a little .
"Wrong . How do feel about her ? " Anna asked again .

"I just told you ," Alex said .
"And that was wrong ," Anna said .
"And how do you know that ?" Alex asked .
"I just do , now ,  how do you feel about her romantically ?" Anna asked again.
"I..
He said trailing off of his sentence .
He did that a couple of times before Anna frustratedly said ," Alex ! ".

"I don't know okay . Maybe I do like her in a way other a bestfirend I don't know ," Alex said all at once dued to being put under pressure .
That was when he realized what a big mistake he made .
"Anna -
"Don't . It's okay ," Anna said and then looked at me and said ," Do you feel the same way about him in that way ?".

I didn't know what to say . Do I say truthly how I feel or lie .
They just watched me , waiting for my answer . I just left . I ran out of their as fast I could .
I got back onto the boat and went where no one will find me .
I went to my parents room . While I was using my laptop , Cathy , Ally and Jake was three way calling .

I just wanted to be alone so I didn't answer it .
So many questions and thoughts ran through my mind that I didn't know when night came and when Alex came to my parents room .
Alex shock me and I came out of my trans .
"What ?" I asked .
"You came here ," Alex said .
"Yeah ," I said shyly now that I remember what happened before .

"How do you feel about me ?" Alex asked. 
"You're my bestfirend ," I said and then something happened out of the blue .
Alex kissed me .
I accidentally kissed him back . I wanted to push him away but I just couldn't .
We pulled away from each other and I couldn't look at Alex in his eyes .

I lifted my chin and said ," Your feelings about me . That was what that was bothering you ".
I didn't say anything . I just looked somewhere else but his eyes .
Soon my parents walked into the room .
"Hi sweeties ," My mom said .
"Hi mom ," I said putting a fake smile on my face .
"Ready to go to dinner ?" My dad asked .
"Yeah," I said as I got up and walked to the door .

When we were finished with dinner , we went to our room .
I took a shower when we got back and so did Alex .
When he came out , I was already tucked into bed .
He came by me and pushed my hair that was by my neck away from there and kissed my neck and shoulder .
That made me to get goosebumps everywhere .

"Beth , why didn't you tell me ," Alex said as I sat up in bed .
He lifted my chin for me to look in his eyes .
"Why didn't you ?" He asked .
"Beth , say something ," Alex said .
"I don't know what to say ," I said mumbling my sentence .
"What ?" He asked. 
"I don't know what to say ," I said again but this time much louder and looking straight at Alex .

"My feelings about you was bothering me as well ," Alex said .
When he said that I had a surprised look on my face. 
"The thought of us being alone in one room was unbearable . I wanted to do something to you  even if it meant cheating on Anna ," Alex said .
That was when I remembered Jake .
He saw my face and said ,"And now you remember what you did to Jake ".

"How do you feel about me ?" Alex asked .
I didn't say anything .
"Beth say something . We're being honest ," Alex said .
I took a deep breath and said ,"When I left to go to Lia's room because of you and Anna , Lia made me think about why I was mad and the next morning I realized that .. I had ... feelings ... for you ... ," I said .

"What do we do now ?" I asked feeling really guilty .   
"I don't know about us confessing our feelings but there is another thing we could do ," Alex said leaning closer to me. 
He kissed me and I kissed him back .
We did this a couple of times and somehow along the way , we were both postioned laying on each other .
We each took of a piece of our clothing  off while were kissing .
He then went from my lips to my neck and kissed there.

Then the rest was  beautiful history that was made  .
