his mind is clouded with pictures of eve and the quarterback flirting, and his teeth clench in anger.

his foot slams against the soccer ball so hard that it hits the goalie right in the stomach. the coach blows his whistle, and aidan sighs, shaking his head and walking back to the locker room.

his heart hurts more than it should. he broke up with her.

so why does he feel like he's the one that deserves to be upset? he knows it isn't because of the end of the relationship, but of the not knowing, and he doesn't know what terrifies him more.
