I was still trying to wrap my mind around what Xavier did. I was busy with my hair when my eyes caught my lips.

My hand instinctively wipe over the place where he bit me. I couldn't help but think of how good that kiss felt even though it hurt in the end.

He woke something up inside me that I've been longing for, for so long. Something so good that you'd be stupid to ignore it.

I finished up and went to school. I had to forget about him as easy as that. He made a choice and to be honest that's what I wanted from the beginning.

The day was filled with the usual boring things. I haven't seen him around much, damn he was good at avoiding people. He still hasn't returned my calls or texts.

We were now busy rehearsing for the schools play. They changed the script we rehearsed and made it much longer. You could sense the tension between us and because of that we weren't working as well as we did at the rehearsal.

The teacher realised this and confronted us. I didn't wanna lose the part but if we didn't start working together we both would.

"You guys have to work together if we want this to be a success.  If you can't stand one another sort it out or I'll give your roles to the runner ups."

"(Claire) Please ma'am don't. This means everything to me. I can't lose this we'll sort the problem out I promise."

"Good."

We finished at rehearsal and I grabbed my things before leaving. When I got outside he stopped me.

"What was that? If you think we're talking this out and that everything will be fine you're wrong little girl."

"I never said we had to talk out anything. And I thought you told me you never wanted to see me again."

"Kinda difficult with the play we have to rehearse. But that's not the point. Point is we're not talking about what happened."

"Never said we were gonna. I just told her that to keep my role. And I would like you to pretend that we did figure things out. I don't wanna lose the role. It's important to me. Have a nice day asshole."

"No I'm not gonna pretend things are good when they ain't."

"You know what I was wrong your not just an asshole your a selfish asshole. You only care about what you want that's it fuck the rest. Right Xavier because you sure a shit act like you don't give a shit!"

"I'm the asshole. Well I'm not the one that kissed someone else am I?"

" I told you I was dared!"

"Dared or not you still had a choice and you decided to do it anyway fuck what everyone else thinks. You know that makes you look cheap and easy!"

"Have a nice day."

"Claire wait I didn't mean it like that."

"You know what we're toxic for another. Maybe it's better that we just stay away for good. That's what we both want. Goss I hate you!"

"You love to hate me Claire."

I turned around and left. How dare he say I'm making myself cheap and easy? I got home and kept myself busy so that I wouldn't think of the chat we just had.

He was busy ruining everything over a stupid kiss that meant nothing. I felt my phone bussing and honestly I didn't wanna look who it was.

It was probably him asking me to forgive him. But I wasn't gonna I meant every word I said and whether he liked it or not I don't care.

But my curiosity got the best of me and before I knew it I was checking my phone. It was a unsaved number.

Luke had send me a text asking me if I would like to join him and a few of his friends for some drinks. I wasn't really feeling it but before I could even think of saying no my fingers typed yes.

I ran up to my room and grabbed some clothes. I ended up dressing in a black skirt, a white cropped top and some heels. I just let my hair down and I was ready.

Not even 10 minutes later I heard a car hooter and ran downstairs to check who it was. Luke was parked in my driveway and when I opened the door he greeted me with a smile.

He looked so good and don't get me started on the scent he was wearing. We got in the car and off we were.

The bar we went to was the same one I went to with Xavier a while ago. We went in got drinks and joined his friends at the booth.

The night was going pretty smoothly. I was enjoying myself and I had began to forget about Xavier ever being part of my life. On my way to the bar to get more drinks I felt someone staring at me but when I turned around I couldn't seem to find that person.

We took shots and Luke pulled me closer to him. He rested his hand on my leg and I placed my head on his shoulder. It felt good and he seemed like a nicer person than Xavier.

After a while I pulled Luke with me to the dance floor because my favourite song was playing. He had no choice he had to join me. I was grinding and his hands were everywhere.

Okay well not literally everywhere but you get what I'm saying they were where the were supposed to be. As I came back up after doing a dip my eyes caught Xavier's. Oh for pork sake why can't I enjoy myself?

Everytime I do he's there. I'll probably not hear the end of this one. Luke left the dance floor but I didn't, I wanted to dance some more. I was in the middle of something when I felt someone pulling me by my wrist.

Of course he had to do this now. He wouldn't be happy if he didn't. We ended up in an empty hallway.

"If you're gonna..."

He had his hands in my hair. His lips placed soft kisses on my neck and my head fell back. He picked me up lifting my skirt so high that it exposed lots of skin.

He bit my neck and sucked on it. Oh heaven knows how good that felt.

"You're coming with me end of the story. You can message Luke on the way telling him you had to go home. Understood?"

"I'm not going anywhere with you. You're not my boss. How dare you yell at me the one minute and expect me to go with you the second? It doesn't work that way."

"If you don't go willingly I'll just have to pick you up and take you myself. Don't test my limits, I'm afraid they aren't very high. Plus you've had a lot to drink and going with Luke isn't such a great idea."

"Why not? Are you suggesting he would do something to me? You know I don't get it, why don't you like him? I mean you don't know him yet you hate his guts."

"I never said he would do anything to you. He's drunk and accidents happen to quickly. I don't hate him I just have a strong dislike for him."

"Why Xavier? If you get to know him you'll see he's not that bad."

"Because he's messing around with things that aren't his!"

I wanted to say something but he placed a rough kiss on my lips. We went back to the dance floor and I saw that Luke was stumbling a bit.

"Still wanna drive with him?"

"Fine whatever, I'll leave with you."
