3rd POV, 17 hours ago...

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Kurt said, pushing through the crowd of glee kids, "what I mean," Sebastian said, edging closer to Kurt, "is that I won't hesitate, to do whatever it takes to win." Everyone shrugged, "may I ask what the frack you mean by that?" Sam said, trying to avoid cursing, "I am going to make sure you never even get close to touching that trophy, nonetheless win it." Sebastian snarled, "Now you're gonna back out of the competition, or face the consequences."

"And what would those be, Smythe?" Blaine asks, "let's just put it this way, if I were you," Sebastian said, taking a dramatic pause, "I'd watch my back." and with that, he left. "wait, I'm confused, was he threatening us?" Brittany asked, and everyone mentally facepalms as Brittany continues, "because I am really confused."

Marley POV, present time.

I was so freaking excited! I am currently walking towards the glee room. In the pit of my stomach, I could feel butterflies trying to fly away but being pulled back down, giving me the feeling I felt during the auditions. I took a deep breath before slowly opening the door. "Marley!" someone screamed, and I felt the tenseness in my shoulders disappear immediately. "Hi!" I said, almost as enthusiastic as the person who greeted me, "well don't just stand there, take a seat!" a girl who I recognized as Santana ushered me to a seat in the center of the room. Once I had sat down, the lights turned off. I could hear footsteps shuffling around me and the sound of clothing being ruffled.

"Um, what's going on?" I ask, nervously, turning around in the chair. As I was about to get up, I felt myself be pushed back into the chair. "What the-" I was cut off by a rope being tied around my torso and arms. Once they finished tying my arms down they shined a bright spotlight on me. "This feels like a freaking 1980s interrogation room, what the hell let me out!" I yelled, "relax, this is part of the initiation process." sam said, trying to sound comforting, "really? How stupid do I look?"

"No, really, it is," Blaine said butting, "we have just recently changed it due to your relationship with a certain Warbler." I looked at him with a glare on my face. "Why would I be friends with a bird?" Someone releases a laugh before Blaine continues, "I don't know, why would you be friends with a bird? that sounds kinda stupid -"

"A warbler is a type of bird, nitwit. You said my relationship with a certain warbler is part of the reason I am currently tied to a chair. Just untie me so I can go home, please." I said the last part with a more pleading tone, for I really hated the situation I was in. "When I said Warbler, I didn't mean the bird, I meant the group," Blaine said, still sounding like a turd,"The Warblers are a singing group, Marley." someone finally pointed out, clearly seeing the confusion on my face. I realize that I already had known who the Warblers were and kinda knew what direction this was going in. "it has come to our attention that you are allied with a member of the Warblers. Now normally, we don't really mind that you are friends with competitors, I, in fact, come from Warbler origin. But when it comes to a Smythe, there are no exceptions." I shake my head and give him a genuine smile, "I did know a Smythe when I was younger, but I don't anymore. I haven't seen Sebastion in the longest time and I am glad I haven't. Sebastian was a cruel, cold-hearted snake who didn't care about anyone but himself. I am truly happy I don't know him anymore so I am sorry I couldn't be of more service to you." Blaine nods, a sour expression coming over his face. "So you claim that you don't know Sebastion anymore. Then how do you explain hanging out with him in between every class period? How do you explain talking to him in the hallways, sitting with him at lunch, walking home with him every day?" I look at him, fear building up behind my eyes, "I only do those things with Barry. Barry Allen. He's my best friend. I can understand how you might have mistaken Barry for Sebastion, but once you get to know him, you realize how different they are. Barry is-"

"Stop lying Marley. Stop defending the meerkat. He's stupid and pathetic for disguising himself as this down to earth, good smart kid. Let me tell you, something sweetheart, he's not. We have probably known Sebastian longer than you and his ego is fatter than Kim's ass. Alright, I don't think that he has ever thought of something that didn't end up with him getting something in return." Santana interrupted me. "Look, as much as you're gonna say it, I am probably still not going to believe you. Barry is different than Sebastian." I look around the darkroom to see most people shaking their heads. I do see two people who look like they might believe me. Kurt and Rachel. They looked like they just wanted to leave. If you looked closely you could see the fear in Rachel's eyes, like she is only here because of peer pressure. Maybe they know something I don't. Maybe they don't actually agree with me and are just uncomfortable with the situation. I personally couldn't wait until they untied me from the chair. Until I could be free to leave and go hang out with Barry-

My thoughts are interrupted by two pictures being projected onto the screen. I see two pictures of Barry, one of them in the normal dorky clothes he wears, and the other one with him in a blazer. "Marley Rose. Barry Allen has been lying to you. Sebastian Smythe came to visit us nearly 18 hours ago. He spoke of blackmail, winning, and taking out the competition. This happened while you were out of class. Did you happen to be with Barry around 18 hours ago?" I thought to myself then nodded my head, a look of anger overcoming his face. "Miss Marley Rose, that is impossible. For these two pictures right here are both Sebastion Smythe. Barry Allen wasn't with you 18 hours ago because he was here threatening us. Now I need you to see the real truth here and understand that there is no Barry Allen. There is only Sebastion Smythe. The man you called rude and egotistical. But also the same man you said was sweet, caring, and kind. Come to the realization that there is no sweet and all-around good guy Barry Allen, there is just the lying, rude, horrible Sebasion Smythe." I look over at my fellow glee members, tears brimming my eyes. Two kids come to me and untie the ropes that held me hostage. Before, I would have bolted out of there, happily leaving, but now? I am sitting still, holding the tears from escaping my eyes. I only have one thing circling through, my mind, and I need to say it aloud.

"He's been lying to me?"
