The Meeting

I'm so glad he's okay. Doesn't he know better than just to run away like that?

Every country was staring at you and the one who had just entered the room.

Late as always.

It was Germany.

"So I guess the cat's out of the bag then?" Germany asked Poland, who was quietly staring at him.

"Yes." He said with a raspy voice.

"Maybe it's better that way." Germany murmured to you. "You can sit down over there." He says that to you pointing to a seat next to France and Austria.

Did he just forget about our fight? Was that even a fight or was it his way of communicating?

"Germany please take a seat." You hear The Netherlands say. "Nah I'll stand. I'll have to anyway if you're going to ask whose responsible for this." He responds calmly.

While you walk towards the seat, keeping your head fixed to the ground. You could feel everyone's stare at your back. The Netherlands sighs before asking. "Who's responsible for this?"

Nobody said anything. Poland stared at Russia, as if he was silently begging for her to stand up.

The Netherlands was about to continue, as suddenly Ireland stands up.
"I was involved in this." He says in a steady and confident voice.

"What?!" You flinch and turn to see a furious Britain glare at Ireland next to her.

"Me too." Norway got up and glanced at Ireland.

Sweden face was clueless and full of confusion. Iceland was staring daggers at him.

When The US himself got up, everyone went quiet.

Canada stared as if she couldn't believe her eyes.

Mexico didn't look to surprised. As if she hadn't expected anything else in the fist place.

Then the US turned to Russia.
"We're all standing right now and admitting our mistake. You should do the same."

Russia's face was white with rage. A cold and hateful glare was fixed at Poland, who was answering with the same expression on his face.

Then she got up.

There was a horrible tension between everyone.

Sitting next to France didn't make it better. He kept tuning to Germany to glare at him.
"First Australia's submarine pact, and now this?!" He shouted at Germany.

Suddenly everyone started shouting at each other. Some of them even got up.

"Seriously?! Ireland I'd expect something like that from Germany but not from you!" You could hear the UK.

"Yeah Norway? What is this? Can't you trust your own family anymore?!" Sweden lashed out at Norway.

"I thought you'd tell me about something like this." China says turning to Russia.
Russia's face expression was fixed on Poland's. They were playing the staring contest game probably.

Suddenly you felt someone tap your shoulder. You turned around to see three curious faces.

Indonesia, The Philippines and Thailand.

"Who are you?" The Philippines asked you.
"Better question is WHAT are you." Indonesia asked.

"Everybody sit down." You hear The Netherlands shout. Most of them stop arguing, but everyone stays where they are.

"We don't even know what happened. Would you please explain."

"It was my idea." The US immediately starts. "I asked Germany for help and after a while I thought that Ireland should join. Germany wanted Norway to help too, but Poland saw the two. So we decided to let him join, and soon enough Russia found out too."

"How did you do it?" You hear China, who was sounding really curious.

"We built a portal. We actually wanted to connect the human world with ours, but it didn't work and this human, (Your Name), got stuck in it by accident and we were able to save them." The US answers.

And there it was again. All of them started yelling at each other.

"Guys stop.." Germany tried to calm everyone down but gets interrupted by a ear reeking screech.

Horrified you turn to Austria.

"What is that?!" You yell trying to be loud enough for him to hear you.
"It's the fire alarm." He says worried. Then suddenly you could feel the floor under you shake and one of the glass panes on the roof shattered and a shower of splinters scraped your face.
