Your heart stopped.

"You love me like you love singing?" You asked her, voice shaking.

"No, more than that." She whispered.
"That reminds me, I've never sung to you, have I?" She asked.

"No. Will you?"

"If you want me too."

You nodded.

"Медленно минуты уплывают вдаль,
Встречи с ними ты уже не жди.
И, хотя нам прошлого немного жаль,
Лучшее, конечно, впереди."

Her eyes were clouded with pain, even though her voice was the most beautiful you've ever heard. While she sung, snow started to fall.

"Скатертью, скатертью дальний путь стелется
И упирается прямо в небосклон.
Каждому, каждому в лучшее верится,
Катится, катится голубой вагон."

Her last words were just a whisper.

"You remind me of snow." You said, trying not to let your voice crack.

"Because I melt around you?" Russia asked, furrowing her eyebrows.

"No." You couldn't help but smile a little. "But because even if you're cold you make me feel happy. Except when you turn into a snowstorm." You whispered.

Russia smiled. "You really forgive me? You'll want to remember me?"

"Every time it snows." You whispered.

Dark clouds started to sweep over her. And then she was gone.

You stood up, snow melting on your face.

Belarus and Germany were waiting for you in the distance.

"We're close to the ocean from here, we almost made it to our destination." Germany said after you caught up to them.

"That's a relief." You mumbled.

The three of you continued to walk thought the woods. The snow started falling thicker and thicker, whilst your heart got heavier with every step.

"It must be cold for it to snow so close to the ocean." You murmur.

Germany nods. "Siberia is cold." He murmured.

Suddenly it hit you. For it to snow, there had to be clouds. Why was it so light outside?

"It's very impressive, the way snow can reflect light so intensively. Makes everything seem so bright." Belarus murmurs.

"Are we safe when there's snow?" You asked, anxiously.

"How should I know?" Belarus replied, shrugging.

As if the universe were making a sick joke, a triumphant shriek filled the air.

The monster landed right on Germany's shoulders, startling him and throwing him to the ground.

"I killed her! I killed Russia!" It's disgusting voice yelled in his face. "And I'll kill you too."

"No!" You shouted and threw yourself against the monster, just like Russia had.

Germany lay on the floor, petrified, while Belarus jumped to your side.

You flung your fist into the side of its jaw, while Belarus made herself small, to get into a more stable fighting position and flung her foot into the monsters throat. With the other hand she reached for the slightly open jaw of the creature and tore out a tooth, a huge pointed saber.
