I woke up eager and nervous at the same time. Although this is my first ever time a guy has asked me out for lunch, I have decided to just be myself. From experience aka chick flick movies , I have learned that being myself is so much better than putting on a fake front just for someone else.
So I left my house bright and early to get a coffee and head to the gym for a quick workout before coming back to shower and pick an outfit of the day.

I got to the library and started working. The next time I check my phone I noticed that it was almost the end of my shift and time for lunch. At that exact moment, the entrance door of the library opened and I saw Adrian walking in.
"Hey, you look great, are ready to head out?" he asked as he scratched the back of his head as if he was nervous. I fiddled with my fingers and I noticed how good looking he looked with his sleeves rolled up his forearm, and his back muscle flexing as he walked towards me. "Thank you, you look great too, and yeah I am ready also do you know where we would be going for lunch?" I asked softly. "I found an Italian food store around here, do you like Italian food?" he asked me. "I love Italian food, I honestly love any type of food" I replied with a wide grin.
Adrian and I left the library walking side by side towards the Italian store while having conversations after conversations. My heart literally exploded when Adrian nudged me towards to inner side of the sidewalk so he walked closer to the road, as if he was taking extra precaution for my safety. I felt so comfortable talking to Adrian, as if he brought a sense of comfort with him. I got so lost in the conversation that I did not realize that we have reached our destination.

I ordered pasta since I have actually been craving for pasta since forever. The pasta was delicious, but I was craving bubble tea right after and I know a place around the corner that sells bubble tea, the boba is obviously my favorite, love the texture and the taste combination. Imagine the shock I was in when I found out that Adrian has never tried it before, that was when I basically forced him to get bubble tea together with me.

"This is actually really good, for something that looked a little suspicious and a unique texture" Adrian explained enthusiastically as he walked me back towards the campus. We have gotten extremely close just after one lunch 'date', I got really comfortable with talking with him. Something really unusual since that is never like me, I have also realized Adrian was quite a closed off person at first but slowly starting warming up to me as well. He also doesn't really like talking about his family of work which I really appreciate since then I do not need to open up about mine.

We reached campus, "Adrian, today has been amazing, thank you for inviting me out for lunch today," as I was about to walk off I felt him grab my wrist which made me turn my neck to look over.
"Aurora, it has been a while since I felt so relaxed and comfortable with someone that was not a family member of mine, and I was wondering... would you like to go on a date with me?"
ANYWAYY HOPEFULLY THIS MADE UP FOR THE TIME I WAS GONE AND IM GOING TO TRY TO START UPLOADING REGULARLY AGAIN!! SINCE NOW MY SCHOOL HAS GIVEN A SHIT TON OF PROJECTS FOR ME TO COMPLETE IN A SHORT SPAN SO IVE BEEN BUSY 24/7.
