A young Ning jie was hiding within the closet of his sister.
"Ah-Yuan you see that troublesome boy" the marquis Ning said
"Brother is hiding" she said
"Where?! Tell me where is that boy"
"I can't tell you father it's our sworn sibling hood I can't do that" she said
The marquis Ning smiled softly then patted the head of his young daughter.
"Your so loyal to your big brother he doesn't deserve you" the marquis said
"Hmm, I won't give brother's hiding place away" she pouts

He hugged her and pinched her cheek.
"Fine fine I get I won't insist I'll leave your brother alone"
He chuckled then left the room, Ning jie came out from his hiding place.
"Good Xiao Mei Mei"
He took out some sweets from his pocket and gave her but she only looked at it sadly.
"What's wrong Xiao Mei Mei?" He asked
"It's just that Gege is going away" she sniffed

Ning Yuan smiled as she held her brother's hand.
Out of all the siblings of the Ning family Yuan and jie were the closest being only two years apart.
Ning jie and Yuan looked over in the corner, they hid as they observed their second brother Ning Zixin.
"Brother who is that?" Yuan asked
"That's second brother's wife to be lady Zheng RuoLan"
"Second brother but isn't it untraditional for a second brother to marry before the first"
"Yes, originally she was 1rst brother's wife to be but then big brother yelled he didn't want to marry her and she agreed announcing her love for second brother" Ning jie can't help but burst in laughter.

"Ah don't worry little I truly love Mr. Cold face"
She hug him closer pitching his cheeks but he still remains apathetic for Ning Zixin giving a dam about anything was too troublesome and too much work.
"We aren't wedded yet no need to act so intimate" he said
She only proceeds by kissing his cheek causing him to blush with his pupils diluted.
"Ah I leave now good by little ones enjoy your time before I come to permanently steal your brother away" she teased,
Zixin only shut his eyes upset and turned away his cheeks were still heated and he walked away.
"Aiya, their relationship is a little funny I like her" Jie said
"Brother father will whip you senseless if you cause a big commotion that hinder the relationship between the two" Yuan warns.
"Oi, father is such a kill joy let's not talk about him let's go play" he said.
The two held hands as they ran in the yard that evening Ning jie snuck out with Yuan into the market buying toys and sweets.
"Come on Yuan!"
Ning jie dragged yuan over the wall as they both snuck back in looking down Ning jie spotted his first brother.
"Gege!" He yelled
"Come on down" he smiled lifting his hand up
"When did you come back brother Zixin said you had extra classes"
"I finish them for today tomorrow you'll be returning with me" he said
"Tomorrow why?, I have 4 more days until my first day"
"Mother say you should be early"
"Aiya, mother and her ways okay I'll do" Ning jie said
But soon Yuan swell up then burst into loud cries.
