The school week had started running like it always did. Temi hadn't even spoken to her dad in days.
She heard the senior wife was coming to town in a few days. Good news was,she was not gonna be staying for long.

"Guy,no!. Don't mess up my graph now" Favour said to Kudi

"Ah sorry o, someone cannot hold French curve for you again ni?"

"Don't hold it for me. This isn't broom" Favour said and Temi just watched her two friends argue like they always did.

The bell for lunch rang and without thinking twice,Favour just closed her graph book and took her meal card from her bag.

Temi just laughed at how swift Favour was in closing that book..

"I'm not ordering their porridge again o. I thought it was the usual porridge that gave me this homemade feeling" Favour said spoiling her mouth at the porridge

"But you're still eating it na" Temi said and Favour scowled at her.

"I think they changed one of the chefs" Kudi said

"That's why" Favour said.

"So,Temi. How's Jamal?" Kudi asked wrapping up her chicken wings.

Temi just shrugged and Kudi rolled her eyes.

"How's Femi?" Temi asked.

"Well,.. He's okay...." Kudi trailed off.

"You haven't spoken to him today,have you?" Favour interrupted.

"I haven't" Kudi replied

"Your relationship ehn.. You've been in school all day, you've seen each other,yet you find it difficult to talk to one another. Kudi,Femi is just playing with your mind. Today, he'll talk to you,two days later, he'll ignore you" Temi said

"He's just difficult. I know he'll change. We've been together for four months now. Not everybody likes to open up" Kudi defended

"So why is he just that way to you? To the other girls,he isn't difficult" Favour said

Kudi rolled her eyes.

"Nawa o!" Temi said as they prepared to leave.

"I know he'll change. Temi,you also used to tell me he'll change. Why the sudden change?" Kudi asked

"Because that was when I thought he'd actually change. Now, I've figured he's just doing all that to you on purpose. He'll dub your assignments, he'll ignore you. In public sef, I've seen how he behaves;like he's embarrassed of you. He'll now sit somewhere and think he has a girlfriend somewhere,you too, you'll be doing like mumu" Temi said

"Let us see o" Kudi said as they began to walk out of the cafeteria.

As they walked out of the cafeteria,they noticed a small crowd of SS3 students. They walked closer and discovered the centre of attraction was none other than Jamal. He was sharing flyers.

He handed one to each of the girls and winked at them.

"Next Saturday,come along with party vibes!" He continued to announce giving people the flyers.

"That party is gonna be lit" Favour said

"Before nko. It's the "Beginning of the session" party na" Kudi replied.

"Y'all have fun" Temi said and her two friends shot daggers from their eyes at her.

"See mouth,like duck. Better don't give me that vibe" Favour said as Temi chuckled.

"I'm serious. What do I wanna do there? Is it not just to eat, drink,talk and go back home," she shook her head. "Besides,Senior wife is gonna be back that morning"
