"It's like I wanted to die," Temi said as they got into the hotel room. "My insides were burning so bad," she groaned as she took off her shoes.
"I know right," Cynthia drank some water. "Miss Kamsy has no chill on the pitch"
"You know the swimming competition is this evening right?" Temi asked
"Yes,I'm participating" Cynthia nodded
"That's also the opening," Temi said taking off her sweatshirt. "This evening is for the first competition"
"You're coming, right?" Cynthia asked
"Of course," Temi chuckled walking to the bathroom. "I gotta support you"
She heard Cynthia chuckle as she got into the bathroom.
She took off her clothes and took a hot shower.
She felt relaxed.
She was so tired,but at this point,she felt calm.
She then remembered that she hadn't even called her mom,or Favour or Kudi.
She felt bad. She didn't want it to look like she was too busy or anything.
As she was done with her shower,she wore a pair of jeans,a casual baggy t-shirt with different emojis on it and her shoes.
"Where are you going?" Cynthia asked Temi as she grabbed her phone.
"To a pharmacy"
Cynthia immediately wore a confused look.
"I gotta refill my inhaler," she said. "Or I might just buy a new one"
"Do you know any nearby pharmacies?" Cynthia asked
"According to the map,the pharmacy isn't very walkable so I might just take an Uber"
"Oh, alright then," Cynthia said. "See you later"
"Adios" Temi said walking out of the room.
As she was walking by,she stopped at Jamal's door.
She knocked on the door twice.
As she was about to knock the third time,a shirtless Jamal opened the door.
"Hey," he said as he stared at Temi. He then licked his lips. "I'll be out in ten seconds"
Temi nodded as Jamal closed the door.
Immediately,the door swung open.
She thought it was Jamal,but she was met with Dayo.
His eyes were red,and he was also sweating. And he was also shirtless.
"Hey" Temi said staring at him.
"Hey," he replied, catching his breath. "Do you want anything?"
"Yeah,I'm waiting for Jamal," she replied. "Why are you sweating?"
"I was....," He said
Temi quirked a brow
"You don't need to know what I was doing" he said firmly
"Were you fighting with Jamal?" She asked
"Yeah" he replied as the door fully opened revealing Jamal
He walked out of the door
"Shall we?" He asked Temi, totally ignoring Dayo.
"I'm talking to her" Dayo said.
"Whatever, dude," Jamal said,and then turned to face Temi. "I'll be in the lobby"
"But that's all the way down. It's gonna be boring going down alone"
