Chapter 27 I Hate You

Just as Nik was about to head for bed he was informed he needed to meet with his advisors in the form of an emergency royal council meeting.
The last things he wanted to attend.

Ari had called the meeting.
He needed to get Nik away so he could spend some time alone with Alice.
Because Nik was still so mad at Ari he had taken him off of the council.
Which was technically illegal since as prince it was Ari's birth right.
Regardless, Ari had once again crossed his brother.

Alice had showered and was ready for bed when she heard her door open.
She had been afraid until her heard, "it's me."
Ari, her Ari was here! Alive and not dead!
Alice ran to him and had hugged tightly.
"I was so worried about you!"
Alice had been more than worried, she really did care for Ari.
She loved him.
"I'm fine now since I'm with you."
Alice smiled against his chest.
With Ari here everything was okay.
"What are you doing here? If Nik knew you were here, if he found you here he'd-"
"Don't", Ari hissed, "say my brothers name!"
"Sorry", Alice stammered.
Alice was instantly sorry, because of Nik everything was a mess but a part of her knew no matter how much of a mess her life was it was better than being in the House Of Madness.
Ari relaxed, "it's okay. Just I don't like hearing that monsters name from your mouth."
That was fair, Ari had every reason to hate his bother as did Nik.
Alice gave a hesitant smile even with a hesitant smile was one of the prettiest things Ari had ever seen.
Every pretty thing Ari had ever seen was some part of Alice.
Ari cleared his throat, "I'm here because I love you and I wanted to see you."
He loved her.
A fact Alice couldn't understand; how could he love her?
How could the almighty powerful fae prince Ari love her?
It didn't make sense to Alice.
"I love you too", Ari smiled at her declaration before he kissed her.
They kissed again and again.
Wet warm kisses that Alice couldn't help but compare to Nik's cold smooth ones.
It made Alice feel like crap but with every kiss she still thought of Nik.
Clothes came off, kisses became more desperate and lust was present.
Alice could feel Ari everywhere.
His scent lingered in the air, his touch on her skin and blue sky eyes that mesmerized her.
His eyes reminded Alice that she was safe.
The man she was kissing was Ari, her Ari.
When she looked from his eyes she felt fear.
Red scales, brown horns, large wing and apparent strength.
He looked by no means human.
He looked as a monster with his dominant mythical dragon fae genes.
Ari felt her panic, he told himself to stop.
Regardless of his intentions, he didn't.
Alice's heart was beating a mile per minute in a dangerous way.
She was scared once again.
Not a funny foreign feeling to her, after all fear wasn't new.
She had been scared all her life.
Alice tried to move, she couldn't she was about to scream when she found those sky blue eyes.
Ari.
It was Air, the man she had loved since she was a child.
It was okay, everything was more than okay.
Alice relaxed, she stopped trying to get away, instead giving in.
Ari ran his mouth down her neck, leaving light kisses.
He licked one collarbone than the other.
Alice hadn't noticed they had made it to the bed until she felt herself on it.
She was laying on her back which gave Ari the opportunity to go on top of her.
He ripped her black thong off, but left the matching black bra on.
Alice had never had 'pretty' underwear but being in the palace had it's perks.
Or more so Nik had his, 'perks', since her new clothes along with her new undergarments where all picked by him.
Alice had been lost in the moment, so lost in Ari's lips on her skin she hadn't been ready.
She hadn't been ready for Ari to fuck her.
She wanted him to wear a condom, she would of told him that if he hadn't pushed in before she could.
When he pushed in time lost meaning.
Unlike last time Alice felt good almost immediately.
She could feel herself being stretched but there was no pain.

She had been so relieved to have felt close to someone even for a moment.
When it was over Ari went to his room saying even though Alice begged him to stay.
"I can't, I couldn't live with myself if he punished you for my actions."
An interesting thing to say since Nik wasn't an idiot and even if Alice took a hundred showers Ari's scent would still be on her skin.
Alice smiled even though that was the last thing she wanted to do, "okay."
Ari left and Alice was so tried she fell asleep.
