The most annoying sound kept ringing in my ears over and over again I wanted to switch it off but I couldn't move my hand all that much. My body felt weak, I felt weak I could barely open my eyes they felt so heavy as I slowly tried opening them that's when a I saw bright light making them harder to open. Slowly my eyes fluttered open and all I could see was a plain blue and white room and a machine beside me which was making the noise.

I hadn't noticed someone holding my hand until I look down to the rest of my body I knew exactly who it was I'd notice him anywhere and anyhow.

Jasper

I wonder how long I've been here and how long he's been by my side. It made my heart flutter knowing that he cared and that he saved me even if I couldn't trust him then I knew that I could trust him now. But I know I can't have him involved with my business I wouldn't allow it.
Being in hospital and knowing how he risked his life just to come save me even when he knew that he could get hurt. I don't want that for him it's my revenge plan I shouldn't involve him.

I couldn't help but play with his soft hair he looked so peaceful and free as he slept. I took my time enjoying this moment even though my entire body ached I have never felt as safe as I do when I'm with Jasper.

My door to the ward flew open as I saw a very distressed Aiden stumbling inside almost as if he was running, I couldn't help but notice his tear stained face and he's skin looked pale as he looked at me like he had just seen a ghost.

"Y-your alive?"he was at a loss of words walking closer to me almost as if he was scared to even touch me until he got close enough he hugged me tightly

I couldn't tell if it was a joke or not but the look on his face told me he wasn't joking.

" Yes I'm alive why wouldn't I be" my voice came out a bit raspy but it was enough for him to hear me as I hugged him back

"They.. Told us you died... You have no idea how happy I am your still here Tesoro I don't know what I'd do without you I know I haven't been the best brother but I swear to you from the bottom of my heart I love you and I'll protect you with my life I'm so sorry j-just please don't leave us.. Please don't leave me I'm not ready to lose you like that again"  he broke down my arms I didn't know what to do or say but I just held him rubbing circles on his back.

I gave him the reassurance that I was here in a single hug because I knew thats what he needed right now. I never thought someone would care so much about me. Aiden has been the nicest and sweetest out of everyone else in that house that's when it clicked in me that even if the rest of them hated me I still had a family.

My brother is my family

I looked up realizing that Jasper wasn't in the room anymore, Did he leave?

I was soon brought out of my thoughts as Aiden soon calmed down and sat beside me. He held my hand which was I gesture I saw and felt him always do it gave me so much comfort.

"Josie what happened how did you end up in hospital, who hurt you, was it Jasper because I swear if it's him I'll kill him myself" he spoke almost like he was making a slient vow to hurt anyone else to hurt me.

"Jasper actually the one who saved me from m-" just before I could finish my sentence we both heard shouting coming from the corridors

'WHERE IS SHE'

'WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER'

'IF YOU DON'T TAKE ME TO HER THIS INSTANT I'LL HAVE ALL OF YOU FIRED'

'DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN TAKE ME TO HER'

I could recognize yet I wasn't sure where I exactly knew it from until the doors opened revealing the man who I had no intention on seeing in such a state a man non other than my Father.

"Josephine y-your alive you have no idea how worri-" he began rambling as I stopped him as soon as he started.

"What are you doing here"i had no expression nor any other emotion other than anger towards this man and he knew that.

"What do you mean what am I doing here I - I came to see you I thought I lost you." he almost made me laugh with what he said.

"What you came to here to make sure I was actually dead cut the bullshit Anziano"

Anziano- Old man in Italian.

"Do not speak to me that way I'm still your father." he's nostrils flared in anger as he stepped closer to me Aiden immediately stood Infront of me.

"Oh please your barely a father to the kids you do like your nothing to me but a sperm donor"i was still holding aidens hand I felt him light squeeze it encouragingly

"Aiden move out of the way I want to speak with my daughter" he was trying not to lose his temper but it seems his masculinity failed him on that trait

"No Dad unlike you I protect my family i don't runaway from my responsibilities"

Just as Mason(Father) was about to raise his hand the door opened revealing a very confused Jasper.

"All of you out I need to talk to Josie"he tone held authority as he spoke.

I was shocked to see Mason leave willingly but Aiden didn't budge. I squeezed his hand letting him know I was okay being left alone with Jasper.

He sat down beside me I could see the eye bags under his eyes and the worry he had slowly broke my heart.

"Josie do you have any idea of how worried I was. I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you enough princess"

I had to do it I knew I had to it was the only way to keep him safe either way.

"I'm sorry I worried you... B-but who are you"
