In this oneshot AU the Moonlit World is known to the rest of world. From my understanding, mages are, more or less, old fashioned and don't understand technology well (*cough* Tokiomi and Rin *cough*). So, with technology advancing at a rapid pace, it was only inevitable that a mage would be caught practicing their magecraft. This in turn went viral around the world, thus mages could no longer hide themselves so easily. The Holy Grail War though was somehow kept a secret *cough* Zelretch *cough*.
