-when Kit tells you about his new job, it happens to be on a battle field

-you and him were cutting through a bunch of battle droids, back to back, lightsabers glowing, casually chatting, and the topic had come up

-it was the topic of the top Coruscant magazines, and he'd nonchalantly mentioned to you how he was going to be on the front cover, bright smile and all

-you'd almost dropped your lightsaber, and he was forced to twist around and cover you for a moment while you scooped your jaw off the flaw

-you were utterly shocked

-'You? Kit?'

-'Why not? I am now good friends with one of the journalists.'

-you shook your head. This man was full of surprises, and you told him so

-he chuckled, flashing you his signature smile over his shoulder, and you couldn't help but imagine that iconic, infectious glimpse of white teeth on the front cover of the best selling magazine in Coruscant

-Maker, he's going to look fucking glorious

-you tilt your gaze down and almost drop the magazine

-somehow, he looks better than you ever imagined he'd look

-that sweet, shining smile, his tendrils neatly arranged, wrapped in golden bands, his jedi robes falling gently around his figure

-this time, you don't have the presence of mind to stop your mouth

-'stars, Kit, you look great,' you choke, unable to tear your eyes off the page

-'thank you, sweet,' he replies, and this time you look up, now unable to look away from that dazzling smile in real life

-'the people are going to love this,' you tell him with a grin

-'really?' he asks. 'you think so?'

-you nod vigorously. 'Yes. Definitely.'

-a few months later, Kit's journalist friend asks to write about you in the magazine too, and after Kit's gentle cajoling, you agree

-so now, you have the front cover of his magazine framed on your wall, and Kit has the front cover of your magazine on his
