She hasn't been back here in 6 years. Since the fire. Her family is dead, her home burnt to the ground. She left the first chance she got with her niece and nephew.
Now she's back. Laura is missing, an alpha is terrorizing the town, and an old flame...

Derek is missing.
She knows who has him. She can't do anything though because he could be anywhere.
Peter came to her and told her. He didn't seem worried though. Derek is a survivor, I mean he fought an alpha at 16 years old.
Florence sat in the school late at night, finishing up some grading and other work she had to do, when she saw a figure standing in the doorway.
Earlier that day, she managed to slip a note to Scott, on a graded test she handed back, to meet her at the school that night.
"Ms. Hale?" She heard Scott's voice asked as he opened the door, a short haired boy following right behind him.
"Scott! I'm glad you saw my message!" She said smiling as she saw him walk in her classroom.
"Yeah, Stiles was the one who pointed it out to me." He said sheepishly pointing at his friend.
"Okay, well we need to come up with a plan about Peter. He's tricked Derek into helping him and now Derek is missing." She explained getting up and leaning on her desk.
"How do we know you also aren't working with Peter huh?" Stiles asked crossing his arms
"Because, Peter has always been a bit sociopathic, even when we were younger. I knew he killed Laura because he wanted her alpha status, the fire didn't burn out his personality and mind. I'm one of the only people who can trick Peter, he thinks I'm working with him. " Florence explained
"So what should we do?" Scott asked looking between his friend and his teacher.
"Derek told me that the reason Laura came here was because a deer was found with a spiral carved into it." Florence started
"The spiral means revenge right?" Scott asked cutting her off
"Yeah, so Laura came here because of a copy of the report on the deer. I asked Deaton about it, and he described the woman who asked for a copy of the report, it was Peter's nurse." She finished holding out a copy of the report on the deer with the spiral carved into it.
"So Peter lured Laura here?" Stiles asked
Florence nodded. "He wanted her here so he could kill her to become the alpha. Scott." Florence said before turning to the beta
"You need to find Derek and tell him. Once he knows Peter intentionally killed Laura, he will help us defeat him." She said to him, hoping he understood the severity of the situation
