"This is a stupid plan" she says to Chris after he explained Scott's idea to catch the Benefactor.
"You're right, but it's the only plan we've got. Scott said you are to go to the hospital and meet up with Melissa before they wheel Scott in. Pretend like you have an appointment. Once Scott is pronounced dead, come back here with Stiles and we will send a message to the Benefactor. This has to be fast, we have 45 minutes."
Florence crosses her arms over her chest. "I still don't like this." She states before waking out of the house to the car.
Neither of the two spoke about the night before. When they woke up, Malia had already left, and the former couple just continued with their day. A new sense of tension was between them, which they just ignored.
Florence does have to say, if Melissa ever quit her day job as a nurse, she could probably go into acting.
Melissa wipes her cheeks, ridding herself of any tears left on her face and the two walk into the morgue of the hospital.
"I still hate this plan" Melissa states, after looking at her son's 'dead' body.
"I second that" Florence says, raising her hand.
"I mean, this is pretty significantly terrifying" Melissa says. "He looks dead"
Noshiko holds out her hand for Melissa. "Give me your hand"
Melissa holds out her hand, Noshiko places her hand on Scott's chest, over his heart. "Wait for it" she says
Florence listens closely to Scott's chest, hearing a faint thumping ever little while.
Melissa lets out a breath. "Is that enough to keep a werewolf alive?"
"Enough for an alpha, yeah" Florence answers.
"How much time do we have?" Melissa asks
"Forty five minutes"
Florence inhales sharply, knowing what Melissa is going to ask next and the response she will get. She looks at Stiles who was a hesitant expression on his face. Scott didn't want his mom to know the risks before the plan was enacted. He knew she wouldn't like it and wouldn't allow it.
