Florence's belly has grown a lot. In the excitement of the nogitsune, she forgot to tell her job about her pregnancy, and well. Now they know.
It hasn't grown much, but it's become more noticeable. Coach's reaction was the best, the first thing he asked was why she looked like she swallowed a basketball.
Other than her belly growing, Florence hasn't done much of anything. She sticks to a routine
Wake up, Work, Come Home, Grade things, Eat, Sleep, Repeat.
She just feels numb.
Melissa has tried her hardest to talk with her or try to get her to hang out, but Florence just isn't in the mood.
Stiles even called Cora, down in South America to try and talk to her Aunt, but Cora's not the most... comforting person.
She basically just told Florence she is going to find Chris and rip a certain appendage off.
Scott and Stiles are growing worried about Derek. He hasn't responded to any of his texts for the past few weeks, but he doesn't want to tell Florence about that.
So, the teens hatch a plan to drive down to Mexico and get him from the Calaveras.
Florence is none the wiser about it. She notices they all are out of school, but ignores it. During the time since the nogitsune was defeated, the group has missed school once or twice just to grieve.
She sits at home, grading papers when she gets a weird phone call from Sheriff Stilinski.
"Florence? Can you uh... Can you come down to the station? I have something here that might interest you" he asks
That's how she ended up walking into the station and finding a 17-year-old Derek sitting on the bench.
She stops moving, standing here staring at the boy, who notices her and rushes towards her.
"Florence, thank god. What is going on?" He asks her while hugging her.
She looks at the Sheriff who shrugs.
Stiles and Scott burst into the Sheriff's station, halting when they notice Stilinski and Florence giving them a look.
She pulls Derek away from her. "Listen, we are going to talk to the sheriff and figure out what is going on, okay? Go sit in his office, we will be there in a moment"
