Marina Vettle

Today was my second date with Giovanni, and even though I was not as nervous as I used in the first one, I was still quite nervous. He was a very interesting guy, and I felt like I couldn't take as much as he could about his life. I hadn't traveled. I hadn't even gone to college.

I usually stayed back at the bakery some hours extra, as I needed the money, but not today. I couldn't, I needed to get ready. So, the moment the clock's pointer landed on the number four, I took my apron off, and rushed through the streets full of people. When I saw my building, I took my keys out of my coat, and opened the door, failing the first two times. I took a deep breath, and inserted the key slowly.

I rushed upstairs, cursing out my unfit self, when I got out of air when I was one floor away. I shook my head, and walked slowly to the last floor.

Every time I got to my house, I always eyed Mrs. Wilson's door. She was still with her children, and also her husband, which he was told he was good to go home. I appreciated them a lot - her children - because they updated me on everything about her. I also talked to her, and since the accident, they were thinking of sending both of them to a residence, because if it happened again and I was not there. They didn't want to take the risk. But they were still thinking about it.

I opened the door of my shitty apartment, basically ran to the wardrobe, which consists of my two usual drawers, and the boxes and bags that Giovanni bought me. While I went through the clothes I put my phone on call.

"Girl." Lucy exclaimed. "Marry him." She yelled, making me snap out of the bags. "He is handsome. He has money. He treats you like an angel. Buys you things. You said he is funny. Intelligent." She rumbled what I told her. "What more do you want?!" She yelled. Even Nathalie was surprised at her intensity.

"I don't know, maybe I want to get to know him?" I rolled my eyes. "So, I already have an outfit in mind, but I want your approval." I continued looking through the bags. I found one of the pieces of the outfit I was thinking about. "So, I want to wear this." I showed it to the camera for them to see. I show a short, black skirt, with a small slit on the side.

"That skirt is lovely." Lucy said.

"I'm going to steal it from you when I see you." Nathalie signed.

"We will see about that." I signed back, as I was still looking through the bags, and she couldn't see me. I found the other part, which was a red blouse, with a sweetheart neckline, but as I was not very persistent in the chest department, so it didn't show much. It also had long, baggy sleeves. "What do you think?" I asked.

"That's lovely." Nathalie said.

"He is going to be on his knees for you." Lucy said. "But as far as I know he already is." She mumbled, which I tried not to hear.

"I was thinking of wearing these black boots with it." I pulled out a pair of boots, with a similar heel from the last ones, as they were comfortable, with a little bit of platform as well.

"I love them." Lucy sang. "That man has taste. And not only in clothes." She winked at me, making me roll my eyes.

"I'm going to shower, I will call you later when I'm wearing it." I told them.

"Send a picture, better, I want to have it, and we are also leaving." She said, giving me an idea for the picture. "Bye, Marina, have fun." They smiled, and then hung up.

I went to the shower, and washed my hair with the freezing cold water. It was getting really fucking cold here in Chicago, so the water was colder than usual, meaning then my showers were even shorter. After washing my hair and conditioning. I washed my body as fast as I could, and jumped out of the shower.
