Y/n's eyes slowly fluttered open, and as her vision cleared, she found herself cradled in the massive arms of... Big Mom?.
'wait...big mom? Like...linlin? Charlotte.. linlin?!' thought to herself while looking at the said person in front of her.
Confusion, dumbfoundness and a sense of familiarity washed over her as memories from her past life flooded her mind.
Y/n gazed up at Big Mom's or Linlin's imposing figure, she couldn't help but recall the incident that had led her to this moment. The memories of her previous life, the people she had loved, which no one really, maybe some of friends.
And the events that had shaped her existence resurfaced with startling clarity and that entity too the one she just talked to.
In that instant, Y/n's mind became a tapestry woven with the threads of her past and present. She remembered the warmth of her family, the laughter shared with friends, and the dreams she had once held. But she also remembered the tragedy that had taken her away.
But even though all of those friends and family didn't last that long because of all the problems, Y/n still treasured it that's why if she really is here she would make and protect her family.
Tears welled up in Y/n's eyes as she realized the weight of her new reality. She was happy at the same time, lost and sad.
She was no longer the person she once was, but a newborn baby in the arms of her new mother, a family and of all.. a pirate. The contrast between her innocent form and the reputation of Big Mom, also as linlin.
As if sensing Y/n's turmoil, Big Mom's stern expression softened slightly, and a glimmer of understanding flickered in her eyes. As she gently wiped off the tears that Tried to fall over the cute little y/n's soft pink cheek.
"my daughter, my very first child i hope you grow up well and... won't disappoint me" linlin said to herself while looking at her daughter a smirk smile tugging in her lips.
'yep, she really is scary' you thought to yourself.
In that moment, linlin felt something strange about her child but she tried to ignore them, and as if noticing how y/n's eyes, spark of resilience and determination. She vowed to protect and nurture this child to become strong, and to provide her with the strength and guidance she would need to navigate the treacherous waters of the pirate world and to be a strong not only as her daughter or as a family but as a subordinate too, a strong one.
As Y/n nestled into Big Mom's embrace while still feeling slightly nervous about it since this is big mom she's talking about the anime she had watch over and over again in her past life, a sense of acceptance washed over her for having another opportunity to live again she promised, that she would love and protect her family.
'I'm not really sure about linlin though since as i remembered...she didn't care about her children and all' Y/n thought to herself while glancing at her now mother, while her eyes slowly started to fall heavy from tiredness.
She knew that her past life would always be a part of her, shaping her character and guiding her choices. And with linlin as her guardian, she would embark on a new journey, one that would test her resolve and reveal the depths of her inner strength.
'do I... need...to... Call...her... My mother? ...' as she fell asleep in the hands of linlin before she can finish her words.
As the ship sailed into the horizon, Y/n's gaze lingered on the distant memories of her past, grateful for the chance to start anew and feeling confused.
And determined to make the most of this extraordinary second chance at life to the best she can't wait to grow up already and witness everything that's going to unhold.
