Standing outside my dad's office, I hesitated to knock. The recent encounter with him had left me bewildered; I had never seen him so furious in my entire life, especially not directed at me. With a million thoughts swirling in my head, I finally gathered the courage to knock.

Knock.

Knock.

Knock.

"Come in," his voice, laced with frustration, beckoned. The fear tightened its grip on me as I slowly opened the door. His posture, hands resting on his chin, betrayed his annoyance. I braced myself for the impending storm, knowing that I had somehow managed to mess up.

As I entered, he locked his eyes onto mine, his expression a mix of disappointment and anger. I felt like a deer caught in headlights, acutely aware of the gravity of the situation.

"So what do you want to talk about" I ask still curious about make him so work up all of the sudden.

"Are you genuinely oblivious to what's happening around you?" His words cut into me, laden with disappointment. "I thought I had taught you better than this."

"I really didn't know" I said still scared "what are yo talking about at the point it would lead to this, Dad," I stammered, my voice trembling.

He sighed deeply, his frustration evident. "I was just taking my usual strolls yesterday and until I came by some random SINNER as I walk. They spoke of a shark demon torn apart by a mysterious deer demoness in black. Coincidentally, because you are the only one I now with such feature, just try to ignore it until they seem to say some sort of rumors about me having a daughter and they suspect it's you, given how alike we are to me."

My heart raced as I tried to explain, "Dad, I swear, the shark demon attacked me first. It was self-defense. I didn't mean for it to escalate like this."

He pinched the bridge of his nose, a sign of his mounting concern. "And then, when I met an old associate, and she even say that a demoness resembling me showed up to her shop two months ago. She claimed to be 'Y/N Williams,' adopting your identity and mannerisms. Confronting her only led to her fleeing."

"I don't know what to do that time. She say your name and it cought me off guard," I admitted, feeling a pit in my stomach.

His anger seemed to shift to sadness as he approached me, I ready myselfto the blow that I moght take but it did happen he lead my face to look at him, his expression softening. "Look at me, Y/N. I shouldn't have snapped like that. I'm just worried."

Tears welled up in my eyes, and I managed a shaky smile. As I launch myself at him as I hug him by the neck "I know, Dad. And I'm so, so sorry for causing you more stress."

"There is no need to be sorry about, Darling. We all make mistake, even I make mistake. So, please don't blame yourself about this, but I just want you to know that no matter what happen I will protect you, even if my life is gonna be the cause of your own safety"

He gently wiped away a tear and placed a tender kiss on my forehead. "I'm sorry for raising my voice. I didn't mean to."

"I promise, Dad, I'll be more cautious from now on," I vowed, my voice trembling.

He squeezed my shoulder gently, his smile both reassuring and proud. "I believe you will, Y/N."

With his support, I felt a little more at ease. He carried me over to the couch and settled me in his lap.

"Now, let's shift our focus," he suggested, changing the subject. "Tell me about that shark demon you took down."

A small smile tugged at the corners of my lips. "Imagine tearing into a demonic piñata, Dad. Except instead of candy, it's... well, a shark demon."

He chuckled, the tension in the room easing. "And what did you do with the remains?"

I couldn't help but giggle. "I may have left some... creative displays around and even share some it's part to those people in the cannibal street" I even tell some of its details

"hahaha haha... That really hahaha hahaha I don't know, no word can say how brilliant of an idea it's is, to just rip some of his down part of his body slowly  and dig your nail to his chest and take his heart and show it to his face as he look at you in horror, as you ate. Such a wonderful Idea and beautiful display is that and I didn't even think about it  before" he said spinning me around and put me back to the couch.

"No way, you never done that before" I said looking at him in shock, he never done that before. To be honest that is so hard to believe if you ask me.

"I hate to admit it, but... never in mylife even my dead life here in hell" he said  while scratching the back of his neck.

"How about we do it together... Like a bounding. What do you say" I said as I look at him

He have to admit that you so adorable and who could say no to this look, for him his daughter is the most adorable thing in this world and even in hell and back.

"Of course, and who would say know to this adorable face" he said and he even try to pinch, my face.

"Dad don't push it" I said backing myself at him, as he retrieve his hand back.

"you can't blame me you are just so cute to be true, my little fawn" he said as he hug me I just giggle and laugh as I hug him back.

Laughter and a sense of camaraderie filled the room, momentarily pushing away the weight of the situation.

His playful side emerged as he said, "How about we team up for some more creative endeavors?"

I grinned mischievously, leaning into his warmth. "I thought you'd never ask, Dad."

With the atmosphere lightening, he suggested, "Let's make some lunch. Sorry about missing breakfast earlier."

I stood up, taking his hand with a smile. "No worries. Honestly, spending time with you like this means more to me."

As we headed to the kitchen, his hand holding mine, I couldn't help but feel grateful for his understanding and unwavering support.

With a sense of gratitude and contentment, I realized that even in the darkest of moments, my father's love and understanding remained unwavering.
