Flau'jae Johnson

"No, but y'all are undefeated, for real" one of the interviewers, Kelv stated with a nod

"That first game uh — your teammate the one that blocked that crazy shot. What's her name?" the other interviewer asked

"Ohh Justyce, she a dog for sure" I said causing them both to get hyped, "She a heavy hitter"

"That block had me on the edge of my seat, like damn. The whole team work together amazingly, I love that"

"Yeah y'all chemistry is everything" the other interviewer, Macc said in agreement

"We the dream team" I stated confidently smiling

"But enough of the basketball talk" Kelv said ending the conversation, "You just dropped a album not too long ago. Talk about it"

"It's a album dedicated to my wife, which by the way is the second album about her. It wa —" their eyes widened and I laughed

"Wait, you have two albums out that's about your wife?" Kelv asked for confirmation before I nodded and chuckled

"Yeah"

"Well nobody ain't gotta worry bout y'all divorcing" Macc said before I raised my eyebrow slightly confused

Why would he say that?

"Oh nah don't ever look forward to that" I said with all honestly, "It ain't happening"

"That's dope as hell, so why two?" Kelv asked while sitting up in his chair

"It's so much that I have to say one wasn't enough. Two not enough either, I can go all day talking about my Angel"

"That's real love, that's real love" Kelv spoke with a surprising look, "She got you on lock"

"She turned me soft, fasho"

We continued to talk before my interview was over and I left. I'm here in Nashville, Tennessee because I had a game yesterday.

Even though I'm not supposed to be booked during the season, I had a interview. It don't affect nothing I got going on so it's cool.

I made my way into my family's hotel tired and thirsty. A nap don't sound too bad right now.

"I been on my feet all day, I'm so tired" I said before letting out a loud sigh, "My muscles tight"

"That's what hard work do to you" Ameen said while walking by me and tapping my shoulder in the process

"Flau'jae I been told you, you need to go get a massage. Them ice baths and shit ain't gone cut it" my momma said before I nodded

"I know, but you know my schedule so full ma. It's no time on my schedule to go get one — well at least not right now"

"When you get a chance you need to go" she said in an earnest tone, " You can't keep putting your body off like that"

"And you getting older, four. You ain't getting no younger take care of your body" Ameen said before I just groaned

I'm tired.

My family came to visit me because as usual they feel like we don't see each other enough. I don't think they actually feel like we don't see each other enough, it's just they're clingy.

That's what I believe is happening. I just can't accept the fact that they feel like that, but we live a few minutes away from each other.

I see them all the fucking time.

They all came to my game last night and got a hotel. It's a luxurious hotel, it's set up like an actual apartment.

I like it.

Before I could respond we heard yelling from the next room. It wasn't until Nixon came rushing in with urge.

"Bruh ma tell Aydin to leave me alone" Nixon said with a shift in his body language

"What y'all got going on now?" my momma asked annoyed, "Y'all kids been getting on my nerves all day"

"Tell Aydin to come here" Ameen said before Nixon kindly turned around

He went back and delivered the message before they started arguing again.

"Oh my god" Aydin whined while coming in, "Ain't nobody do nothing"

"What y'all in there doing?" my momma asked as I waited to hear

"He still mad about his food earlier, and don't want nobody talking to him. I ain't do nothing but ask a question stupid" Aydin said dramatically before I chuckled

Is this what it's like having boys?

"Don't call him stupid, he say he don't wanna talk. Just leave him alone" Ameen said before Aydin mouth dropped

He threw his hands up before mumbling

"Why I'm in trouble?" he asked while eyeing my momma, "Y'all always do that"

"Do what?" my momma asked confused, "Don't start that 'unfair' shit, we ain't say you in trouble. Just leave him alone"

"Exactly" Nixon said causing me to side eye him

"Stop talking Nixon before I — bruh I wanna fight you so bad" Aydin spoke out in rage as we just watched

"Aydin it's not that serious just stop talking to him. If he don't wanna talk, talk when he in the mood" I chimed in before he sighed

He didn't respond instead he walked off. My brothers know not to argue with me, I don't play that.

They'll argue all day with anybody else, but not me. When I start laying out rules and speaking my piece, it get real quiet.

"Y'all need to cut the petty alterations" Ameen said to Nixon causing me to nod in agreement

"And stop telling, you supposed to be the oldest"

"Y'all said not to fight, so I stopped. Now don't tell?" he asked with a attitude

"Go back and do what you was doing, it is what is" I told him before he walked off

My brothers are all a year apart, so they go back and forth a lot. Now that they're older, it got worse.

Aydin is the fighter, he don't like all that talking.
He's one person with ten personalities, you never know what you're gonna get with him.

He don't give a fuck about nothing, nobody, and don't have a filter. It's so bad.

Nixon is composed, but he definitely get out of character. He's hyperactive and overzealous. MJ is just too cool all around and is only concerned about himself.

He love everybody though.

My brothers always make me second guess on how ready I am for a son.

Well not always but sometimes
