"What? Princess?" I asked, my eyes locked onto his gray ones as he lay casually on his bed, hands behind his head, resting on them.

"Yes. I love the nickname, and moreover, that's what you are to me.
Don't you like it?" he inquired.

"I do. I love it," I replied with a small smile.

"You have to because I'm not changing it," he declared before pulling me close to his chest. I chuckled and wrapped my arms around his waist.

"I love you, Sera," he whispered, giving me a gentle peck on the head.

Present

I sat down by the edge of the pool, my hands resting by my sides as I gazed
up at the sky. The stars illuminated the night, casting a sparkling glow as they
dotted the expanse of the sky.

I released a contented sigh and redirected my attention to the pool, my
feet kicking playfully through the water, causing splashes to dance in the moonlight.

"He said he was going to be back tonight," I murmured, my gaze shifting
towards the direction of the door.

With a sigh, I retrieved my phone from my side and glanced at the time, noting
that it was already 8pm.

"It's getting late," I said once more, locking my phone and setting it down on the floor beside me.

My phone buzzed beside me and I reached for my it, its screen lighting up
with Ly's name. A smile naturally found its way to my lips as I answered.

"Senior," I greeted him softly, the warmth of his presence evident in my

"What are you up to?" Ly's voice came through the phone, filled with
curiosity.

"Not much, just some casual sky gazing," I replied, unsure of how to describe my current activity.

A soft chuckle echoed through the line, and I couldn't help but smile even
wider.

"I'll be coming to your place tomorrow," Ly informed me.

"My place?" I echoed in surprise.

"Yeah?" Ly confirmed.

I sighed and ran a hand through my face, realizing that I hadn't informed
him about my current trip.

"Actually, Lys, I'm not at home right now," I whispered into the phone, my
voice barely above a hush.

"What do you mean? Did you go to your mom's house?" he inquired, a touch
of concern in his tone.

"No, not that," I began, stammering slightly. "I'm actually on a trip. It's kind
of like a business trip, but not really. It's more like a vacation, you know nothing too stressful."

A brief pause hung in the air.

"It's okay as long as you're safe. So, where are you?" Lys asked, his voice filled with curiosity.

"Paris," I replied.

"That's quite a long journey, Sera. Did you go with Clara?" Lys wondered.

"No, it's a bit more complicated," I explained, making vague gestures with my hand. "I'll tell you all about it when I get back."

"Alright. Have fun and stay safe, Sera. Let me know if anything comes up or

if you need..." Lys started to say.

"Okay, okay. Goodbye for now," I interjected, already accustomed to his

caring nature.

I ended the call and smiled at my phone's screen, appreciating
