The soft morning light gently streamed in through the curtains, casting a

warm glow on the room, slowly coaxing me from my peaceful slumber.

I blinked my eyes open to find myself lying face to face with Thad. His

breathing, a soothing and steady rhythm, brushed against my face, wrapping me in a comforting embrace of closeness.

Recollections of the previous night resurfaced in my mind, evoking a myriad of emotions. It had been a considerable amount of time since I had felt the way I did with Thad.

The connection we shared had deepened significantly,

leaving me in a state of both delight and uncertainty.

My gaze was drawn to his long lashes resting gently on his high cheekbones

and then down to his tranquil lips, part of which was obscured by a curtain

of his dark hair.

He lay on his stomach, basking in the soft morning light that gracefully danced across his broad back.

Hoping I hadn't roused him, I stole a glance at his still-sleeping form, and my anxiety eased when I saw he remained undisturbed. Clad in nothing but his

shirt, I tiptoed out of his room.

her whereabouts.

As I showered, my thoughts churned about last night, one

of the most blissful nights I'd experienced, and I couldn't help but hope that she didn't regret it.

After my shower, I explored the house, searching for any sign of her presence,

but she was nowhere to be found. I emerged outside, where a refreshing

breeze greeted me.

There, I spotted her by the pool, her face illuminated by the soft glow of the morning sun. She was in hushed conversation on the phone, her whispered words barely audible.

I couldn't help but wonder, was it Senior on the line again?

My gaze drifted over her attire. She was dressed in a pair of shorts and a crop top, which accentuated her figure-the same body that I had run my hands over just yesterday, basking in the blissful sensation of having her all
