I was at my brothers house talking about Emily.

"She's back"? Jesse asked.

I nodded. "Yeah but the worse part is that her dad is out of jail".

Shawn stood up. "How the fuck is he out of jail".

He started pacing. "Shawn it's been years. I don't think he got life in jail".

"Yeah but he's back to his old ways. First he raped mom and now he's beating our sister and probably worse". Shawn's face was getting red.

"Shawn it's not just him Lilly is his girlfriend trying to pin a baby that's not even mine".

"We need to do something". Jesse said.

"Can you guys get him back in jail while I find her husband and kids".

"Yeah and if you get dad to help it will be easier". Jesse said

"But mom wants nothing to do with her". Shawn said

"Well mom needs to get over this shit and help her daughter". I said getting angry.

"Justin is right. If mom turns her back on her own daughter then we should turn our back on her".

"But what will that solve Shawn". I asked.

"It will show that she needs to care for all her kids or she has none. We stick together".

I mean I can see where he's coming from cause I wouldn't want Candace to only like half our children and not the other half. Emily did nothing wrong for mom to turn her back on her.

I got to my parents house and my dad was in his office.

"Hey son". He put his pen down and I sat on the couch.

"I need your help".

He smiled. "Now this is a first. You haven't said that since you were eighteen and arrested".

I laughed. I remember that. I got arrested for stealing a car. But that's a different story.

"What do you need son".

"Emily is back a-".

"How is she? Is she okay? We haven't heard from her in years". My dad said cutting me off.

"Dad she's at my house right now".

"What's going on Justin"?

I sighed. "Her dad is back and he's been hurting her".

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME". My dad yelling

He never curses unless he is really upset.

"Dad I need your help. Jesse and Shawn are getting rid of him and I need you to help me find her husband and kids. They left her and she doesn't know why. But it's weird cause they aren't divorced".

"Yes I'll help you only for my daughter".

"What about mom"?

"She will get over it".

"I'll get over what". My mom walked in.

I sighed. I swear this lady is nosy.

"How do you know we were talking about you mom"?

She looked at me and then at my dad.

"I-I-I". She stuttered

"Exactly". I said

"Well who were you talking about"?

"Why are you being nosy mom"?

"Justin are you going to tell me or not".

"Not. I don't think I should".

"Ryan"! She crossed her arms and raised her eye brow.

"You really think that will work on me". My dad stood up. Making me a little scared.

"I'm sorry Ryan".

My dad sat back in his chair. "Come here Laura".

She walked over to him and sat on his lap.

Ugh this is going to be a long day.

Emily is really good with kids and Jacob and Jules are getting to like her.

"Thank you for helping me with the twins I'm so tired".

I laid on the couch.

"It's no problem. I really like children it reminds me of my own".

I could tell that she was missing her kids. I don't know what I would do if I had my kids and husband taken from me.

"Don't worry Justin will find them".

I heard the door open.

"We found them". Justin came in the living room.
