"Byul, shh.."

Byul continued to cry.

Beomgyu frowned and gave her a spoonful of oatmeal.

Byul immediately stopped crying and Beomgyu let out a small smile.

"You're so annoying.." Beomgyu said.

Byul stared at him then opened her mouth.

Beomgyu laughed.

"And bossy."

...

"You can do it..!" Beomgyu said as Byul wobbled a little.

Yeonjun stood behind her, ready to catch her if she fell.

"Walk to me, you can do it."

Byul stared at him and Beomgyu smiled. "Come on, Byul.."

When Byul only stared at him Beomgyu frowned.

"Baby, don't give up." Yeonjun said quickly. "She's just confused."

Beomgyu sighed. "It's just..i-it takes too long.." He mumbled.

"I know, but be patient, she's close to walking."

"R-Right.."

...

"Bye, Byul, oppa will be back soon." Beomgyu placed Byul down.

Byul immediately crawled away and Beomgyu laughed.

"Is it okay if i just have a quick word with you?" The nursery teacher asked.

"Oh? Y-Yeah." Beomgyu said.

"So, we are really worried about Byul."

"What..?" Beomgyu frowned.

"It's nothing serious..!" She quickly said. "She just doesn't like the food we give her so she isn't really eating much when she's here."

"O-Oh..she doesn't really like a lot of food.." Beomgyu said.

"Right..we just ask for you to bring her own food so she can eat well."

"Yeah, i will, thank you for telling me.." Beomgyu said, blushing.

It felt like he wasn't being a good brother.

...

"Mom?"

Beomgyus mom looked up.

"Can you watch Byul..? Really fast-"

"No, Beomgyu, damn." She rolled her eyes. "Just watch her, i'm always watching her."

Beomgyu stared at her. "No you aren't.."

"What?"

"Y-You don't watch her at all.." Beomgyu said. "I do, you don't even know what's going on in Byuls life, you don't know what she likes and what she doesn't like."

"Don't talk back!"

"No, you don't even know that your own daughter is about to start walking and talking, that she's in nursery, that doesn't eat most foods because they make her sick, that she's probably allergic to broccoli, you don't know anything about her, you can't say you watch her if you don't even know the basic things about her, you shouldn't even be allowed to be her mother."

"Choi Beomgyu!"

...

"Beomgyu?"

Beomgyu didn't look up.

"Beomgyu.." His mom sat on his bed.

Beomgyu zipped up Byuls pajamas and stood up, grabbing a tissue from his bedside table and wiping the blood off his face.

"Oh baby.." His mom stood up, walking over to him. "Let mom see.."

"Im fine." Beomgyu glared at her, throwing the tissue away before picking Byul up.

Byul stared at her mom with wide eyes.

"Hi baby, do you want mommy?" She smiled, reaching for Byul.

Byul began to whine, clinging onto Beomgyu tightly.

"It's okay, Byul, oppas here.." Beomgyu said, still glaring at his mom.

His mom frowned and sighed beofre walking out of his room.

He'll never forgive her no matter how nice she acted.
