Walker and his family invited me to go to the fair with them and i was so excited!

I haven't been to the fair in so long, and now im going with walker. He had planned for us to go separately from his family. I was perfectly okay with being with them. I told him it was okay, but he insisted.

"Hey, wanna go on that ride," he points up to a pretty big rollercoaster.

"yes, we should! Although, it looks like it goes upside down a lot," i smile.

He takes my hand and walks us to the entrance line to the ride.

It was a good ten minute wait. We were next to board on when some kids cut in front of us. I was not pleased with that.

I tap on the kid, "you guys can't just cut us."

"okay? you guys were too slow," the kid says with a disgust tone.

"excuse me? you guys literally waited as long as we did," i tell him as i start to get frustrated. Not because we had to wait or anything, it was because of these unmannered kids.

"it's fine, y/n. We can just wait again. We would be the first ones on for the next ride," walker whispers to me.

Now we're unnecessarily waiting again. Should've bought those fast lane tickets when i had the chance.

The ride was coming back and it was finally our turn.

The gate opened and walker and i went to one of the seats towards the middle back.

It was the kind of seats that hang with the bars that go over you to secure you.

"I'm so glad i didn't eat that much before coming," walker laughs.

"right... i was about to devour those funnel cakes earlier," i laugh with him.

The ride was slowly going and it was moving upwards. My feet were dangling. I'm so glad i didn't wear my crocs.

Walker thought he was funny and kept kicking my feet the entire time we were going up. Obviously, I was kicking him back. We can be childish together.

We were at the top and then it stopped for a second before going down super fast into a sharp turn.

Walker was screaming and laughing. I couldn't tell. I was laughing the entire time and my head was stuck looking down. I was trying to pick it up.

It went into an upside down loop twice. Then, it went sideways.

All of a sudden everything stops. The ride had stopped. But we were stuck going up.

"is that supposed to happen," i ask walker.

"i don't think so.." he whispers.

"Ride has malfunctioned, please wait."

I look over to walker, slightly panicking.

At least we didn't get stuck upside down in a loop or something bizarre.

"It probably won't take long," he reassures me.

If only those kids didn't cut us.

I felt his hand go on mine.
