I glanced at my watch; it was nearly time for Leo's class to end. After two long months, I was finally going to see him again, and there was so much I needed to tell him.

I had come to understand my feelings for him during the moments of uncertainty when I was fighting for consciousness after the accident.

At that moment, I knew without a doubt that what I felt for him was love.

Initially, I had begun this "game" to toy with his emotions, to see him brought to his knees.

Yet, ironically, it was I who found myself kneeling before him, consumed by the depth of my feelings. If not for the accident, I might never have comprehended the true extent of my emotions for him.

Clutching the bouquet of red roses in my left hand, I couldn't help but take in their sweet scent as I stood outside Leo's building.

My right hand, still encased in a half-cast, remained hidden beneath my jacket—I didn't want to startle Leo with the sight of my injury. With a hopeful smile on my face, I patiently waited for him to emerge.

As the students began to trickle out of the building, I scanned the crowd for Leo, but he was nowhere to be seen.

Hours passed, the sky darkened, and still, there was no sign of him. Fearing the worst, I decided to head to the bar where he worked—Ethan had mentioned seeing him there yesterday. However, upon my arrival, I learned that Leo had suddenly taken leave, sending a wave of panic coursing through my veins. Where could he be if he hadn't attended class or work?

With a racing heart, I hailed a taxi and made my way to Leo's room.

Stepping out of the taxi, I noticed the light emanating from his window, providing a glimmer of relief. But it wasn't enough—I needed to see him with my own eyes to truly feel at ease.

Never before had I experienced such overwhelming panic for someone else. Leo had changed me in ways I hadn't even realized.

Summoning my courage, I approached his door and took a deep breath before knocking. After two hesitant knocks and a brief pause, the door clicked open, revealing Leo standing before me.
Relief flooded through me at the sight of him, and I couldn't help but feel grateful to finally see him again.

A smile graced my lips as I looked at Leo, taking in his familiar features and the warmth of his presence.

His gaze flickered from the bouquet of roses to meet my eyes, and before he could utter a word, I enveloped him in a tight embrace, seeking solace in his comforting embrace.

"Babe, I missed you"
Nestling my face into the crook of his neck, I breathed in his scent, feeling a surge of life coursing through me.

It was incredible how one person could have such a profound impact on your existence.

As I peppered kisses along his neck, I felt a pang of longing dissipate, replaced by a sense of completeness. Pulling away slightly, I gazed into his eyes, my fingers delicately tracing the contours of his face.

"I miss you," I whispered, my voice filled with longing and affection. However, Leo remained silent, his expression unreadable as he continued to stare at me as if grappling with disbelief at my sudden appearance.

"Babe, say something," I urged, the silence becoming unbearable. With a brief dip of his head, Leo turned and started to walk away, leaving me standing at the doorway, feeling a sense of emptiness wash over me.

Hurriedly, I followed him into the room, shutting the door behind me.
As I closed the door behind me, I hurried to catch up with Leo, my heart pounding with anxiety. With determined strides, I reached out and grabbed his wrist, halting his movements.
