Cali turned around and walked around the room towards the window. The sky was dark purple and feint distant lights glowed from across the horizon. It was about midnight. The loud music had stopped and all she could hear was the quiet rumble of talking.

Turning, Cali walked over to the small hallway at the side of the room, it was some sort of walk in wardrobe- shelves and wardrobe doors lined the walls, which led to a lavishly decorated door with frosted glass inserts; a modern bathroom complete with twin basins, jaccuzi bath, toilet and an elegant shower. wow this guys got money, thought Cali. She then turned back to the wardrobe. Skimming through the luxury fabrics she came across designer shirts, ties and shoes, belts, jeans, board shorts, vans, converse and an array of printed Tees. She picked up an I heart NY one. Perfect.

slipping the oversized t-shirt. over her head Cali continued around the room. She walked over to the night stand next to Finns bed. The gun still lay on top. Ignoring it she opened his top drawer. Condoms, hand cuffs, blindfold, girls underwear and a sports magazine. Eugh.

Feeling tired Cali climbed back into the bed, if she was stuck in this room she might as well sleep right? Feeling more comfortable she wriggled down into the sheets and lay on her side facing the door. For the first time in the last few days she felt calm, and tired for that matter. Within minutes she was fast asleep.

A few hours later Cali was disturbed by the door opening. Keeping her eyes almost closed she pretended to sleep, but she cold just make out Finn stumbling in. He'd been enjoying his drink. He swung the door behind him and and placed a beer on the night stand. He then stood above Cali and smirked, whipping a strand of hair off her face. He was surprisingly delicate. Finns silhouette then disappeared from Cali's eye line but she could hear him unzip his pants and slip them off. The next thing Cali knew, a large arm encircled her waist as Finn climbed in next to her. She held her breath not wanting to move under him. He was so close. She daren't move, he would know she was awake.

Instead Cali lay uncomfortably for the next few hours planning her next move. At one point she tried to sit up- testing how awake Finn was. To her disappointment the second she moved forewords his arm clamped her down, pulling her back into the bed. "You're not getting away that easy..." Whispered Finn. Damn! He was awake and sounding sober. Cali lay still again, embarrassed. Of course he would know if she got up.

Deciding she would just have to bide her time, Cali relaxed a bit and fell asleep again.

It was at 5 in the morning when Finn rolled over, removing his arm from Cali. Immediately she woke up, her body was free. Cali gently sat up as not to wake Finn. She looked at him. He only wore his black boxers. He was relaxed and slept with one hand above his head. His skin was tanned and he had a perfect complexion, a few years ago Cali thought he was handsome, but now? All she could see was betrayal and too much control, wealth and power.

Gently twisting off the bed Cali stood up and glanced back at Finn. He was still asleep. Where would she go now? Well that was easy...

He hadn't locked the door.

Her bruised hands grasped the brass door handle and ever so gently Cali twisted it. The door opened and the dim light from the hallway flooded into the room. Taking one last look at Finns sleeping torso Cali slipped out of the door, pulling it closed quietly behind her.

Looking left and right Cali prayed no one was walking around. Everything was silent. Cali started left running down the corridor the opposite way she'd been before, she didn't want to meet anyone on the staircase. She didn't know her way around but she would just have to find a way out. The corridor was lined with rooms on one side and large modern windows that spanned floor to ceiling on the other. The whole building seemed to be a medieval mansion converted into a modern palace. Vintage stone walls lined Cali's path, with modern paintings hanging on them. Spotlights gleamed from the ceiling in purples and reds, the floor was a light oak. Reaching the end of the corridor Cali darted right. Big mistake. Aidan was walking straight towards her looking down at his phone. Cali spun around "please don't see me, please don't see me" she repeated in her head, her heart was once again pounding as the adrenaline flowed through her body.
