His Slave Chapter 24

Cali choked back the tears becoming more distressed.

"Nothing" she croaked. "Cali I know that's not true, you have to tell me, Cali was there someone else with you, someone from the club?" He asked getting angrier.

Cali looked away. She couldn't bare to make eye contact with him. The shame was too strong. She was in an impossible situation. How the hell was she going to fix this?!

"Cali! You can tell me!" Urged Finn becoming more desperate.

Kim placed her hand on Cali's shoulder and tried to calm her as she continent to squirm in pain. The surrounding girls began to whisper, intrigued by this new information.

The stars outside twinkled calmly watching what was happening. Their delicate flickering beauty highly contrasted the tense atmosphere in the kitchen.

The bright lights reflected of the black and white cabinets. It made her eyes ache.

Cali lay on the middle or the floor, Chris, Finn, Kyle and Kim crouching around her.

"Cali we need to know, your life could be in danger" commented Chris administering a strong pain killer via an injection into her thigh.

Finn looked at her expectantly.

Well this was it, she had no choice. They knew. It was only a matter of time before they worked it out.....

"Yes... Yes there was a man...." Whispered Cali ever so quietly, her voice shaking.

Finns jaw hardened as he swallowed. The tears began to flow down Cali's cheeks again.

"I tried to stop him, I did, but he threatened me, he was so strong...." Continued Cali crying harder and gripping her stomach. "How long ago was this, I can't remember the date?" Asked Chris. "Fifteen, sixteen days maybe?...I knew you weren't telling the truth" Commented Finn. Looking down at her almost disappointed in her.

Two weeks, it had been two weeks since Cali had seen Gwen. She must have been showing by now?! Cali panicked. Everything was going wrong!

"Ok that makes sense, Cali I think you're having an ectopic pregnancy, a miscarriage"

Cali was silent. It made sense, Aidan had.n't used protection and it explained the pain, the timing matched up too.

So that was it, Aidan had got two girls pregnant.

He'd ruined two lives and created two more.

Two paramedics dressed in red and green fluorescent uniforms ran into the kitchen and joined Cali on the floor. They immediately hooked her up to a drip and began discussing details with Chris. Cali lay on the floor in shock.

Kim rubbed her shoulder trying to comfort her. Cali's face was red. She had slightly relaxed, the pain eased yet the bleeding continued. Cali didn't care. Her brain had gone numb. How did she end up in the situation? Everything seemed perfect earlier. She was happy with Finn and she was closer to saving Gwen. Now she was laying on the floor preparing to go to hospital.

"It was Aidan wasn't it?" Suddenly spoke Finn making her jump. She hasn't realised him at her side.

Crap.

How did he know, it was obvious really, Kyle must have said what happened, how she wanted to talk to Gwen then disappeared, he could work it out, he wasn't stupid.

Cali looked up into his eyes. She saw the anger, the rage. Cali didn't need to answer. Her reaction said it all. She bit her lip trying to hold back the tears. Her face turned pale.

Finn stood up. "That b*stered" he spat as he turned to the door. "Finn wait where are you going!" Shrieked Cali panicked by his actions. "I'm going to sort this mess out, Kyle and Kim will go with you to the hospital" "no Finn you don't understand, stay with me!" "I've got to go" "no you don't understand, there's something I haven't told you" Cali said instantly regretted opening her mouth. As if her situation couldn't get any worse.

She'd dropped Gwen in it again, but maybe for the better this time.

As Cali was lifted onto a stretcher Finn turned and came back to her side. Kyle stood intently behind him.

"What is it Cali?" He asked. His expression was numb, he showed no emotion.

Nothing would shock him now.

Cali's stomach churned. One thousand butterfly's bounced off her insides.

"It's Gwen... He got her pregnant to, she's about two months" Finn inhaled. Kyle stood back shocked behind him, his hand covered his mouth. Was that a tear falling down Kyle's cheek?

"Finn you've got to save her!" Cried Cali stetching her arm out to him, he gripped her hand tightly then let it slide away as she was carried out of the kitchen leaving Finn stood silently in the middle thinking.

Kyle walked to the doorway following Cali and the paramedics, then he stopped, turning to Finn. "What are you going to do?" He asked, his voice full of emotion and worry.

"What's right" was Finns simple answer. "You go look after Cali for me, I'll join you in an hour" he said as he ushered Kyle to join Cali to the hospital. "But what about Gwen, what about" "Go Kyle!" Growled Finn "I'll sort it out"

Kyle complied and ran after Cali, leaving Finn alone.

Some of the girls had walked by Cali's side. She was surrounded by reassuring smiles and kind hands.

Seeing her being carried around the corner, out of his view and to the safety of the hospital, Finn focused on his next challenge.

A sudden bolt of energy surged through his body, he was pumped with adrenaline.

Finn ran up to his room. It was empty, no sign of Cali's beautiful sleeping body.

His heart had been shattered by someone he trusted, someone he regarded as a friend.

Finn rubbed his hand across his sweaty forehead. He pulled on a black shirt then secured a leather belt through his trousers. It fit snugly around his toned waist.

He then picked up his car keys and his phone. They jangled in his hand.

Nothing would stop him, he was on a mission. Aidan had broken Cali so he needed to break Aidan. No one abused his property and got away with it.

Gritting his teeth Finn walked to the door.

Walking past his night stand he opened the top draw. The wood creaked under his hand. Pushing magazines out of the way Delicately he lifted out his hand gun.

He slid it in the side of his belt.

Aidan would pay for what he did.
