"My favorite place in all the world is NEXT TO YOU." -Mariz

Lumabas ng comfort room si Mariz holding a towel in one hand. Sinuot niya ang white shirt ni Yñigo. It smelled of him. She didn't know what happened kanina to make Yñigo angry again. She was planning on retiring and going to bed. Konti na lang din ang nasa pool na umiinom. She was tired. Malamang madaling araw na. Nakasalubong niya si Yumi sa hallway.

"Ah! Mariz! Glad I bumped into you. Can I ask you a favor??"

"Sure ate ano ba un?"

Maya maya pa ay bitbit na ni Mariz ang bag niya at sumunod sa Ate ni Yñigo. Ate Yumi asked her if okay lang ba na lumipat siya ng kwarto dahil may darating na big client ito at wala ng available na room. Yumi knocked on the door. It was opened at pumasok si Yumi sa loob. Alanganing naiwan si Mariz sa labas.

"Bro! Glad youre still awake. Mariz will be staying here for the night." Yumi looked at the clock its already ten minutes past two am. Madaling araw na. " I mean she'll be staying here. Wala ng available na room."

Mariz heard Yñigo answered. "What! Andaming kwarto. Dito pa talaga ate!"

Mariz heard Yñigo's sister explaining her side in a hurry. "Please. Bunso. I need that client. Would you rather, I place her sa kwarto nila Tiffany??" asked Yumi.

Nag-init ang punong tenga ni Mariz. She didn't know na sa kwarto pala ni Yñigo siya papalipatin. And Yñigo doesn't want her there. Halata sa boses at sa mariing pagtanggi nito.

"Hell no! By the way I told you to invite only our close friends!" angal ni Yñigo.

"Well hindi ko naman kabisado so I've invited all of them. Bukas darating ang mga College friends nyo I mean mamaya." Napasandal si Mariz sa hamba while si Yñigo naman ay sumagot.

"Why?? May continuation pa pala ang pool party? Uuwi na kami ni Mariz mamayang umaga." sarcastic na sabi ni Yñigo.

"Mom organized it as a two day affair. Bukas ang mga oldies. Mariz needs to attend it kase darating si Tita Esha." Ayesha Missy Andrada Ocampo owns the Andrada Scholarship na nagpaaral kay Mariz. "Well?" tanong ni Yumi kay Yñigo.

"May magagawa pa ba ako. San ako matutulog??" tanong ni Yñigo.

"Okay lang sa sofa na lang ako matulog ate." Sabi ni Mariz. She had been yawning outside the door. Pumasok na siya pero sa ate ni Yñigo siya nakatingin.

"Mariz!" Yñigo exclaimed ng makita siya. He shot a killer look at his sister. Yñigo didn't know na nasa labas lang ito. Had she heard him when he declined?

"Malaki naman ang kama mo. You wouldn't touch each other kahit na malikot kang matulog." Ang sabi ng ate nito. Yun lang at umalis na ang ate ni Yñigo. As if kaya kong matulog katabi si Mariz without doing nothing, Yñigo thought gravely.

Mariz dropped her bag to the floor.

"I can sleep on the sofa. Really. Sorry for bothering you." Sabi ni Mariz kay Yñigo. She looked at the sofa on the living room and started walking there.
