Ryder dropped me off at my house after the trip to the mall. He seems on edge about this whole thing. Mason on the other hand seems like he's trying to figure out what the heck to do.

Mason: I'll be over in 30 minutes after I get dropped off. I want to talk to you.

I texted Mason back saying okay. In the mean time, I'm going downstairs to talk to my mom since I ignored her when I walked in the door.

"Hey mom." I said sitting down in the chair across from the couch.

"Why did you ignore me when you came in?" She asked. "And shouldn't you be studying? Not out at the mall?"

"How do you know I was at the mall?"

She pulled out her phone, and tapped a few buttons before handing me her phone.

"Press play on the video." So I did.

The video showed me and Tyler arguing. I looked at the likes and shares. One hundred plus likes, and over fifty shares. Wow. I thought school was interesting cause me dating Ryder, but now everyone is going to be asking me who this person is. I handed her back her phone.

"Is that Tyler?" She questioned me. I nodded.

"How did he find you?" She asked.

"That's what I want to know." I huffed.

"Did he follow you form the mall?"

"No. Not that I know of. He went off with Beth-" my mom cut me off before I could finish.

"I don't want you talking to Beth, I don't want you to tell her anything, I don't want you to hang out with her. I know these past few days y'all two were getting close again but it has to stop. You could put your life in more danger. Beth can tell that boy anything and it can seriously hurt you."

"I know it can mom. But I'm not going to stop talking to her. Maybe I can get stuff out of her that Tyler tells her. Have you ever thought about that?" I stood up and walked out of the living room, back upstairs to my room. I'm not having this with her right now.

My phone started vibrating in my pocket.

"Hello?" I answered ignoring the caller id.

"Hey I'm outside your house. Wanna come outside?" I heard Mason's voice going through my phone speaker.

"Sure. I'd rather be outside than here inside my house with my mother." I rolled my eyes, then mentally slapped myself cause he can't see me.

I jumped, more like slid off my bed, and walked back downstairs. I didn't give my mom one glance before opening the door, shutting it, and walking over to Mason.

"Hey." He smiled.

"Hi." I gave him a small smile back.

"So please enlighten me why you don't want to be inside cause your mother." Me asked crossing his arms, smiling, and raising an eyebrow. Hm. He can pull that look off.

"Drama. Tyler drama. She not wanting me to be around Beth anymore. It's all so stupid. Like Beth can help me. She can tell me things Tyler tells her, and I can be prepared for them." I rolled my eyes.

"That is true. But what did your mom say about Beth and him hanging out? What's her concern?"

"She thinks of me and her get close and I tell her things about the past with Tyler, that she'll tell him, and it could put my life in even more danger."
