Ryder stood at my left, and Mason at the right. Us three stood outside the doors to the high school, just waiting to go in. But we al know if we go in, we will be bombarded with questions. Not so much me, but mainly Ryder, and Mason. Come to find out, when Mason showed up here, he didn't go to any of his classes, he just showed up to find me.

"Ready?" I asked taking in a deep breath.

"Ready." The two boys stated.

I opened the doors to the school, and everyone's heads turned to see who it was. Gasp, points, whispers, "It's Ryder!" Getting yelled everywhere.

No one made a move to walk up to us, which is unusual. But I'm kinda glad, because I don't want to deal with these people.

"Ryder." Said a cheery girls voice from behind me.

"Jayden." Ryder said in an, I don't really want to see you, voice.

"How are you? Miss me?" She pushed me aside, and hugged him. Are you serious? I could see Ryder tense up.

"Why would I miss you?" He asked? Mason laughed.

"Why are you laughing?" She spat at Mason.

"Because. You honestly think he'd miss you? If anything, he'd miss Casey more than you." Mason smirked.

"That's not true! It's me he wants!" She jumped up and down like a little kid.

"That's false. It's Casey." Ryder interrupted her childish act. She glared at me.

"Stay away from Ryder." Ryder pushed her back, and walked up to me. He wrapped his arm around my waist, pulled me to him, and kissed me.

I heard her scream, but I didn't care at that moment.

He pulled back and smiled at me.

"We should get to class." He softly said, smiling.

"You two are cute together. To bad y'all broke up." Mason muttered under his breath. He thought I didn't hear him, but I did. I don't think Ryder did.

After walking down the halls a bit, I was grabbed by the arm and yanked backwards. I let out a loud shriek.

"Beth?" I looked at her.

"I'm sorry, didn't mean to scare you, but I need to talk to you." She grabbed my arm once more and started dragging me down the hall.

"Beth, stop." I tired to pull from her grip but it didn't work.

"Beth, tell me what's going on."

We reached to a part of the hall where no one was.

"Marshal sent Chloe a message, which she sent to Colton, which she sent to me."

"Okay. Get on with the point." I said turning my hands in circles.

She pulled her phone from her pocket, and showed me a screenshot of texts.

"This is what Marshal said to Chloe." Beth said. I grabbed her phone, and clicked on the photo.

Marshal: Bring me the girl, or you'll suffer for good next time. I won't only tie you to a tree to rot and die, I'll make sure fire ants eat you alive. But first you can watch your pathetic cousin die first.

Me: Leave me alone! I don't want any part of this!

Marshal: too late Chloe.. Your already apart of this >:)

I'm shocked.

"Are you serious? Chloe and Colton needs to stay away from him, and stay with one of the boys. I'm not dealing with this crap! I had to deal with Tyler, but that's over with, now Marshal?"

"I'm afraid so." Beth said.

"Wait, I'm mad at you. You helped Tyler out." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Only because I wanted to protect you!" She blurted out.

"Protect me? Everyone thought he was trying to kill me Beth!"

"Well that's not my fault, now is it?"

"Yeah, it's not your fault. Your just going to help someone who might have wanted to killed me, and you wouldn't care." I threw my hands in the air in frustration.

"Casey calm down. Your okay aren't you? Your alive."

"That's besides the point. If it weren't for you helping him to help me, I would have never met or got involved with Marshal. Now Marshal is coming after me because of all this crap."

"Your the one who did whatever you did back then, to make this situation like this."

"If you wouldn't have helped Tyler, Marshal wouldn't have found out."

Something fell over a few feet from where we were standing. Our eyes darted to the fallen over broom.

I walked over there, turned the corner to see someone standing there.

"What do you want?" I spat.

"I can help you." Cole said.

"I don't know you, why would I let you help me?"

"That's not true. I say with you at lunch yesterday." He smiled.

"That was yesterday! Even then I didn't talk to you."

"Yes you did." He argued.

"Saying, "Who are you?" doesn't count."

"In my book it does." I rolled my eyes. "Fine I'll go away." Cole said, then he slaked away leaving Beth and I alone again.

"Just stay away from me for a while okay? But if it has to do with Marshal, or anyone then let me know."

"I'm sorry Casey! What else do I have to say?" She yelled.

"Nothing. Okay? Your fine. I just don't want to talk to you right now."

I picked up my bag, and started to head to class. Fifteen minutes late, yay. I know this is going to either result as a detention, or a huge class lecture. I'm aiming for the second one.
