"Will you please explain to me why you were with Marshal?" Mason asked setting me down once we got back to the edge of the woods.

"We were on a phone call, and he sounded like he needed help because Chloe and Colton were there."

"Why were you there?" Mason glanced to Colton. He put his hands up in surrender.

"Chloe wanted me to. I tried to leave but she forced me to go."

"How did she force you?" I asked. I mean you can clearly make your own decisions so I don't see how that.. Never mind.

"She would have blackmailed me."

"With what?" Mason asked.

"I can't say." He looked down at the ground, and walked passed us, leaving Mason and I alone.

"You know he could have hurt you. No one can be trusted. I know what it was like to be taken and this isn't no game matter, Casey." Mason said with a serious tone.

"I know this isn't a game, Mason. I'm not laughing about this. Marshal said he could help me out with Tyler, and he did. He told me things about Tyler, and that most of this is cause of Tyler."

"Have you actually talked to Tyler? Have you gotten to know him since what happened back then? Why are you judging him now? He might not be the one. He just saved Ryder. If he didn't want Ryder around you, or wanted you for something, Tyler could have killed Ryder by now. Just think about it."

I stopped in my tracks, and watched Mason keep walking. Maybe he is right? I've never seen him so serious about something like this before. Does that mean he's talked to Tyler?

"Wait up!" I called out to Mason. He stopped in his tracks, and slowly turned around on one foot.

"What?" He asked.

"Okay maybe your right. Maybe Tyler is just trying to help. But I don't trust him. If you give me a good reason to trust him, then I'll think about talking to him."

"He saved Ryder!" He cried out, throwing his hands up in the air. "What else do you want? Do you want him to get on his hands and knees and bow down to you? Do you want him to fan you with a leaf while your on your thrown? Because ever since I came back, you've changed Casey. You think you can do anything and everything you want. You think you can go and run off with strange guys just to see if you can solve this thing. But that's not how it works! You can easily get yourself killed, or taken and never be seen again. I don't want you to be killed or kidnapped."

Mason and I's chest were close to each other, and I looked up at him as he looked down to me. I honestly feel bad now about everything I have done. Getting involved with other people I don't know, he's right, I can get kidnapped easy.

"Mason? Casey?" Some called from somewhere behind me. I took my glance away from Mason, and turned around to see where the voice is coming from.

A smile started to form on my face.

"Ryder!" I screamed, running up to him, wrapping my arms around him. He put his arms around me, and gave me a tight hug.

"I've missed you." He whispered into my ear.

"I did too. Are you okay?" I asked pulling away from him, searching for any cuts or bruises on his face, and arms.

"Nothing. I'm fine." He smiled.

Another person walked up behind him, placing his hand on Ryder's shoulder.

"Tyler." I said.

"Hey. Why didn't you meet us? We've been waiting forever."  Tyler questioned.
